This part was shot in my home town! It's actually the place where my high school holds their graduation ceremony. They were in town for 3 days and Johnny always came out to thank his fans and to sign things. It was so cool!

this was such a great part of the movie but does'nt appear in the the book by bryan burrough, this actually happens to one of the the other gangs. I also loved the other part of the film when he walks into the 'dillinger sqaud' room and asks for the 'score', what class nicely done.
