  • why cant videos like these be longer

  • Dam you *&(¨$&¨*%&*%

Let it like 40 seconds watching the flow.

  • Too much camera shake....

  • beautiful

  • It's people like you that ruin this world!

  • sooo realistic xD

  • chuck norris took a piss

  • @blooboy4747 ohh a chuck norris joke!

  • I can't wait until we can do these kinds of things real time in video games

  • that's amazing!

  • Almost looks real.

  • Good work! I have a question that you might have the answer to. You've mentioned "fixing lens distortion" .. how do go about this and when does is take place in the proces? You do this before motiontracking the footage or after?

  • *Ring ring*

    MsWey:Ummm hello

NASA:GIVE US BACK OUR SUPA COMPUTAR

    MsWey:O_O

  • Incredible work!!! The only thing i would like to see added, is make the walls become slightly darker when the water hits it, to make it look like wet concrete. Superb work!

  • NOT THE MERCURY!!!

  • It looks like a kid was on a toy cart holding a camera while the person pulling it was oblivious to the water.

  • wow! awsome work! thats very realistic!

  • Poop

  • This cant be rendered, you flooded a parking garage... so awesome! :D

  • The beep at the beginning scared me :(

  • @o0GraFFiic0o dont be afraid anyway its from an E.A.S

  • Looks great, one of the best Ive seen

  • That beep raped my ears.

  • @reaggacashtro801

I have head phones on. Now my ears are bleeding. Does that mean he took my aural virginity?

  • How Do you do this? I've been attempting but not suceeding. Great video though!

  • This looks totally real, nice video mate!

  • it blows my mind that this isnt real

  • NASA Called, they want their supercomputer back

  • @SuperMaster250 youve made the exact same comment on like 5 videos so far, youre really stretching it out

  • @dawnieh100 stalker

  • @SuperMaster250 nasa has never upgraded their super computer and a smartphone is better

  • @MrAmonus WHAT?

  • @stickfigure42 NASA supercomputer sucks ass... remember nasa got shut down because of funding

  • @MrAmonus I have no idea where you got that idea. And if they have no good computers, how come they have an entire supercomputing division?

  • 0:00 E.A.S Sound!

  • Chuck Norris is pissing again.

  • OMG we will all drown! D:

  • Just needs a better texture for the water. It's not transparent enough.. Kind of like Mercury.

  • the water already looks real, just needs a a splash and foam effect to finalize it

  • Why'd ya add the EAS tone in the beginning?

  • Yeah cool but the water looks dirty like in the Rio Tiete in my city,São Paulo.

  • I watched this, like, 10 times in a row. Very impressive. Not to sound like a douche, but I think it needs more foam. Overall though, excellent work.

  • fake?

  • @TheTopMuzic Lol?

  • haha nice man but kinda looks like the flood of geely :Dor how ever you write that ;) just saying still cool tough :D

  • RIP Headphone users

  • Jose

  • i had the sound really high and it made me jump out of my chair when the vid started

  • mercury flood?

  • This looks a bit too "awesome"

  • I don't have a clue how these things work so can I just ask can you put these in a movie? Kind of like a film a guy running from nothing and putting that behind him? :)

  • @TheCloneWars115 Easy answer: The Classic Greenscreen

  • I think real flow could not consider the inter-facial tension or wettability parameter between solid and liquid.

If it could you can increase them to get better result

  • Yeah it's good but It looks a little like melted lead maybe make it a little more transparent and add some foam.

  • Hey guys don't mind that SMD guy all he says is fake on all the videos that have anything to do with realflow or anything like that so don't reply to him no matter what.

  • FAKE

  • @o0smd0o you obviously dont read the description or have no idea what CG means.

  • @HyperblexMedia U WRONG! this is a FAKE video!

  • Cool! But you needed to decrease the reflectivity a bit and add some foam.

  • Looks great but looks more like moltan metal than water:)

  • Haha, it looks like some kind of melted Mercury!

  • Aaaaaaaaahh! It's Mercury!!! lol jk...even though i agree with iamevildoing, i still think it looks great!

  • Nice! But no lights burnt and the fire extingisher never busted or anything, but besides that, that was truly amazing!

  • this is great mate! A like and subcribe from me. Amazing work, keep it up :D

  • thats really great work. and almost looks completely real. good enough to use in some movies IMHO. tho i think it needs more foam, dabris, and smaller particles. dont get me wrong, not downing what you did, its a hella of a lot better then what i can do with CGI. (i do models and mini's) just what i think was missing, to truely selling it for me. keep it up

  • whats the sound affect in the beggening caled the beeping

  • nice. All you need to bump it up is those secondary white splashes that form a fine mist when water sprays. Otherwise great job

  • Wow, the matchmoving (which i suck at right now) looks extremely solid and how you incorporated some geometry to make it look extremely realistic, all you need is a higher res texture and more particles on that flood :D, looks awesome!!

  • great work!

  • JIM OVERFLOWED THE TOILET AGAIN!

  • Nice :D The first Flood that looks realistic ^^

  • Actually, It looked good, but needed to be darker, as if muddy or murky! It would have been great then!

  • Very nice, but you must to do the water a bit less solid... but the rest is nice!

  • I really thought that in the beginning it was really water and I was thinking " WHY THE FUCK WON'T THE CAMERA DUDE RUN AWAY!!!!!". Then when the water got closer I noticed it was digital

  • Was the flood meant to be water of mudd? Because this looks like a muddy flood looking at the dynamics and viscosity, and judging by the color... like concrete. Paint it a bit more brown to make real mudd, or lower the inertia and viscosity to make it more water like... Otherwise, good job. :)

  • Looks good man! The lighting helps it alot, but some fine particles and mist would sell it 100%!

  • That looks REAL!!!!!

  • Other then a few little flaws you basically nailed it.

  • Amazing I would buy this if it werent $3500 way too much... But still amazing.

  • that looks real.

  • More like mud then water but still very good :)

  • one of the lights sparking would of made it that much sweeter :). sick vid bro.

  • color is crystal like , flood is of pale color , but over all its a nice effort

  • very awesome. it looks real but like iamevildoing said its a bit too solid :D but reall nice work, could be from a movie xD

  • Too big particles. But looks great besides that!

  • it looks like a flood of mud no ofense your work is brilliant

  • good work, very realistic and the angle that you chose made it seem very dramatic, but there's the one thing that's missing; the water foam

  • omg awesome tutorial please i want to make this so long but idk how and your pro

  • Great work but the water looks a bit too "solid". Mind you I have no idea about this just my form of constructive criticism :)

  • @iamevildoing Thanks! I appreciate your comment :)

  • @MsWeylandYutani Please i beg you :D i wanted to learn to just like this for so long Please tell me, How do i creat liquid in Houdini and make it interacte with things and then render just the water and not the objects :D and how did you do this i know after effects houdini and PFtrack. thx

  • @TheZooomm realflow

  • @iamevildoing

I believe the reason it looks too solid is because it's not correct for the scale of the water. If this was a lake's worth of water, it'd make more sense to be so opaque, but for a hallway flood, definitely would be a TOUCH more see-through (since scale is so important, which is why when you fill a glass with water it's almost 100% transparent but you can't see through the ocean at all).

  • @iamevildoing Yeah the viscosity was too high

  • @iamevildoing I don't think it looks solid as much as it lacks translucency

  • what program and how much does it cost?

  • f*king AMAZING!!

  • EPIC

  • That's a v. good effort, I'mimpressed with that.

I'm going to be moving onto match moving soon, I just want to get a bit better with my actual 3D stuff otherwise it will defeat teh purpose of using video foootage.

But to me combinving 3D graphics/simulations/animation/rendering with video footage is the holy grail :)

  • absolutely amazing

  • you have done a brilliant job

  • this was 4 an assignment? wow

  • the underground bunker looks almost like stargate command

  • really really great job on the water

  • damn if i could do that i could make bank

If you see my demo reel you will know what I mean. ...Oh wait, I do not have any demo reels ‹(•¿•)›

  • @solahdax rofl Dax :D

  • Great work there. Funny, I see some people have a lot of advice for someone who has not made a finished shot yet. Keep it up!

  • @quand3r You are probably talking about me I'm just saying what I saw and I dont have a finished shot, because maya is my hobby and I dont have resources to make a full shot. Anyway no hard feelings I'm sure that you are probably better than me at this so... xD.

BTW pls show smth from your work I rly wana see it(didnt see anything in your channel T_T).

  • @kmindd No Sir, I was talking about the OnlyCreativity dude. Sorry for the misunderstanding

  • @quand3r Ou ok I feel kind a silly now ^^.Pls some1 mark my comment as a spam.

  • Crazy stuff right there gj ;>.

Btw when the water hit the column and walls it look kind a strange with that big chunks maybe it needs more particles, but anyway its still cool looking ;>.

  • @kmindd Hey Kronez, thanks for the comment! Why the heck was your comment marked as spam? Anyway, yes, the problem is not the number of particles, but the fact that the camera is too close to the fluid on the last frames. I guess it's the same principle with Maya fluids, if you put the camera too close to the sim, you would need a lot more resolution to compensate.

    Thanks again :)

  • @MsWeylandYutani True there ;>.

  • @kmindd i think its pretty right on but i dont have a prof. eye. this looks as good as the effects i see in most 'b' movies

  • Comment removed

  • @onlyCreativity Thanks, Yeah I did not want to go over the top with the foam, but I can change the amount easily, since it's a separate pass :)

  • Oh my! OMG, OMG. That is absolutely awesome.

  • @solahdax And awesome camera work by Solah Dax. Hehehhaheaeh.
