John, aka Alan Black is still dark and twisted, but now it's done with humor. He lectures all over the US at colleges on the making of a cult classic. Have no idea who this guy is being interviewed
The scenes from certain parts of the film are re-enacted. The filmmakers would be in jail now if they actually did what was portrayed in certain scenes. Yes, it was meant to educate the modern man on how low he has sunk and has already marked himself for oblivion.

People who complain about what is real and what is fake are missing the point. This is a documentary! Just like Mondo Cane. It is meant to educate. The scenes, although fake still get the point across very nicely. Don't complain just enjoy it for what it is.
Almost all the onscreen deaths are fake. Autopsies and news aftermath footage are real. the most notorious and famous scenes in faces of death are fake. there's a lengthy feature in the recently released blu-ray edition i have.
