Ah, atheistfags, always trying to put down any sort of religion. Obviously they HAVE to try and make it okay for a secular person to like something that is clearly religious-oriented.
It's completely fine for people without faith to enjoy something clearly geared towards those with. Case in point: Christmas. XD
Ah, Christfags, always wanting to feel special. Obviously, this song MUST be about GOD because there certainly are no other things to have faith in the existence of. Probably my favorite ThouShaltNot song, regardless.

Faith in God, this is a Christian band, when they say ThouShaltNot they are speaking of the ten comandments. They are saying if you remain having faith in God, He will make you whole. It really is a beautiful song. n____n
If you listen to just the words, it explains all supernatural and paranormal activity. It's not about having Faith in God, but having Faith in things not yet known or understood.
Thoughts create our reality, and if you only accept what you can see, then you don't have Faith, or something like that.
@selectivemusicinc for the record not big bible fan but an agnostic. you say it talks about having faith is that which is the universe and that which is unknown? the true nature of "god" (for lack of a better word) is so unfathomably big that we have no true way of understanding it. therefor it will remain truly unknown and it will be "god" at the same time. no one religion has it quite right yet.
@selectivemusicinc Uh, no, nothing about supernatural or paranormal. "To part the seas, to press the wine from water". Clearly talking about Jesus' first miracle, turning water into wine, and parting the Red Sea so the Israelites could pass freely. Perhaps it's not quite about having faith in God, but it certainly has a few Biblical elements in it.
" if you only accept what you can see, then you don't have Faith" Very true. Heck, our entire religion is based on it!
If you listen to their other stuff they don't really come across as an especially Christian band. They're not the first to come up with the subjects discussed in the song. To paraphrase The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: God won't prove he exists, for proof defies faith and without faith he is nothing. If it's proved that he exists, then by his own reasoning he doesn't, so he vanishes in a puff of logic. And yes, it is a great song.
@radafat for this song, I believe that they are trying to say that proof means that it is just another fact like the sky is blue or that snow is cold, and not thought about much, but it if it is based on faith, you have to think about it and it is topic of discussion until it is resolved, just look at all the things we try to figure out cloning, stem cell research, biotech., and others until they have answers they are talked about. They are talked about afterward only for a short while after.
@radafat I guess it depends on if we are talking about blind faith or on a more open to learning which involves the fact that everyone believes something a little different than the next person and accepting that others have different opinions.
@OutAtTheShow (I apologize for stalking comments ._.) In a puff of logic? Suuure. It *has* been documented by even secular historians that Jesus walked the earth once and preformed miracles. And if YouTube didn't act like a bratty child, I would send you a link...
@MrPhilleyGoat Totally true. (Except for maybe the Christian band bit.) Water into wine, parting the red sea... and "Without faith, it is impossible to please God". I pity the people who down-voted...
Hehe I love the arguments that come up with this song ^_^

@AROAH1337 Well, I'd rather believe in God than some dead man or non-existing critter.

@OutAtTheShow Sorry I don't understand this. Where does it say God vanishes if he proves himself to exist? (An actual question, not a challenge lol)

@bookwormdestroyer Actually evidence encourages further thinking whereas faith closes the mind.

@bookwormdestroyer Faith, blind or not, is not as reliable as convictions founded on evidence.
