  • I always found the conductor weird.. He's going so fast even when the song is slow lol

  • Chocobo roadkill @ 1:38...lol...good memories this was a really fun part FF6 has a ton of memorable parts...

  • This weight is heavy... its going to take me at least FOUR minutes to push *4 minute timer appears in the corner*

  • How did they allowed Gau enter the opera???

  • The conductor always freaked me out

  • Too bad the GBA uses FM synthesis like the Sega Genesis and sound bad compared to SNES.

  • BAAAAAAH BOHHHHHHH BAAAAAH BOHHHHHHHH BAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  • wow awesome dude i also picked gau.gau's rage is awesome!!

  • Why oh why did they ruin the quality of music in this remake? The original soundtrack was a hundred times better.

  • it's the best they could do with gba

  • I think the GBA version has the best sound

  • nobuo suerely out did himself with this one

  • FF6 my fav FF wayy better then 7 in my opinion even though 7 was great

  • Amen

  • I hope theres a psp ver of this that would be great!

  • Final Fantasy VI for PSP? Dream, best remake ever!

  • Chrono Trigger was the only game to ever compare with this one

  • People can argue over the "best" version of FF6 as much as they want, but I don't think anyone will disagree with me when they say that this is the one area in which the Advance version is unambiguously superior to the SNES original.

    I mean, it actually SCANS!

  • It was better than the anthology version that had horribly long load time

  • Super Famicom!!!.

  • It sounds to me as though The GBA version messed up on the quality of the one I saw earlier... but still pretty good.

  • best ff ever, best rpg ever

  • Best GAME ever

  • One of the coolest moments I remember in a video game. A true masterpiece.

  • hey guys how can I erase save file from this GB version??????

  • You can't from what I remember; you can only save over them.

And please don't post the same comment on multiple videos.

  • ok this is bad ... but thx for answer!

  • @Creatyvny looks like you will have to sell as is

  • I love this part of the game:)

  • Will Final Fantasy VI ever be released on the DS?

It would be really cool, they are have made FF 3, 4 and XII-2 on the DS. So they could make FF6 easily

  • they alrdy made IV on the DS, that's a sign that V will most likely be on it, and maybe VI. VI could be on the DS to complete a set of FF remakes on the DS just like the Finest Fantasy for Advance.

  • I'd rather have it for the PSP. I just don't seem them in polygon mode.

  • i played secret of mana and got bored, but when i played this, it swept me away and I still haven't been swept away since even with the next gen rpgs...

  • the didnt decrease the quality prick, its the gba speakers that suck.

    DS ftw

  • Yeah, so that totally explains how we're all listening to this on a computer.

The GBA sound card has inferior sound to the SNES's; that's just a pure fact. The sound isn't going to magically change whether you play the game on a GBA, DS, or emulator.

  • yes the sound card was better on the snes. yes, the sound card of the gba is inferior. but they DIDNT DECREASE THE QUALITY OF THE GAME'S MUSIC, the GBA speakers did. playing it on a DS lite, however, it sounds almost as good as the snes.

  • "but they DIDNT DECREASE THE QUALITY OF THE GAME'S MUSIC, the GBA speakers did"

Yeah, they did.. The gba uses an inferior sound format compared to the .spc format used on the SNES. The bitrate is lower, as is the sampling rate.

  • @Sephiroth1994 Lol, you're a serious dumbass.... or maybe you were two years ago.

  • The black mage redid this song but it is the whole opera (as in it is as if setzer, locke and ultros never happened)

  • Look at that conductor go. Burn mutha burn!

  • The conductor rocks. XD

  • way better than the snes and psx version.s

  • Actually Gameboy advance was much better in a way.

  • That's what he said...

  • yh, it was. I like the way the stage was set out. Though I can accept the graphics as 'ok'

  • i have mixed feelings about the vocals. although i know this actually has a voice sample, the SNES version sent more of a chill down my spine.

  • Actually, this version would be closer to sending a chill down my spine, because I think the singing sounds like ghosts.

  • lol at the conductor who doesn't care about the rhythm. XD

  • And the fact that the Impresario can apparently teleport on stage.

  • He does care, but his conducting skillz are so |337 he can make everything run flawless even when he's just moving his arms randomly :O!!!!11

  • If you can make an orchestra run perfect with those director moves, you know you're a genious conductor. XD

  • his harmony is beautiful.

The opening is really in the "Overture" stile, with modulations and defined tonic region, with 1 tone harmonic progresion that sounds beautifully...

The ostinato of the 2o. part, just tonic and dominant of B minor in the timpani and double bass, than the a melodic line that dounds almost as a fugue subject, the fifths os the french horns, and the beautul oboe closing theme, that changes to D major...

    BEAUTIFUL!

  • this part is sooo beatifull

  • I think the snes voice is better only cuz its just SO ridiculous sounding :p

  • where is Sabin? :) "Uh, why is everyone singing?"

  • he didnt get taken with, u choose ur team, or at least 2 guys

  • I am currently playing this game on the PSX (doin it old skool) and I'm like telling everryone "i', nearly at the opera scene" i get soooooo excited!

  • The SNES version is superior, you don't have to deal with Load times that the discs of PSX create

  • have you tried to see this video while listening to orchestral game concert, the dream oath track... the timing is almost the same.

    It sounds great.

By the way... it sounds so weird in GBA, why did they change it?... i really dont care if it sounds better or worse, but it sounds. different!

  • iv played this so many times it doesent matter if its in Japanese :P

  • freakin awesome! too bad its in Japanese... I cant understand it...

  • I must agree with you, even with the quality of the music in GBA version, the voices sound MUCH better than the SNES version.
