People can argue over the "best" version of FF6 as much as they want, but I don't think anyone will disagree with me when they say that this is the one area in which the Advance version is unambiguously superior to the SNES original.
they alrdy made IV on the DS, that's a sign that V will most likely be on it, and maybe VI. VI could be on the DS to complete a set of FF remakes on the DS just like the Finest Fantasy for Advance.
i played secret of mana and got bored, but when i played this, it swept me away and I still haven't been swept away since even with the next gen rpgs...
Yeah, so that totally explains how we're all listening to this on a computer.
The GBA sound card has inferior sound to the SNES's; that's just a pure fact. The sound isn't going to magically change whether you play the game on a GBA, DS, or emulator.
yes the sound card was better on the snes. yes, the sound card of the gba is inferior. but they DIDNT DECREASE THE QUALITY OF THE GAME'S MUSIC, the GBA speakers did. playing it on a DS lite, however, it sounds almost as good as the snes.
The opening is really in the "Overture" stile, with modulations and defined tonic region, with 1 tone harmonic progresion that sounds beautifully...
The ostinato of the 2o. part, just tonic and dominant of B minor in the timpani and double bass, than the a melodic line that dounds almost as a fugue subject, the fifths os the french horns, and the beautul oboe closing theme, that changes to D major...
I always found the conductor weird.. He's going so fast even when the song is slow lol

You can't from what I remember; you can only save over them.
And please don't post the same comment on multiple videos.

Will Final Fantasy VI ever be released on the DS?
It would be really cool, they are have made FF 3, 4 and XII-2 on the DS. So they could make FF6 easily

"but they DIDNT DECREASE THE QUALITY OF THE GAME'S MUSIC, the GBA speakers did"
Yeah, they did.. The gba uses an inferior sound format compared to the .spc format used on the SNES. The bitrate is lower, as is the sampling rate.

@Sephiroth1994 Lol, you're a serious dumbass.... or maybe you were two years ago.

yh, it was. I like the way the stage was set out. Though I can accept the graphics as 'ok'
Montyleeny14 4 years ago
i have mixed feelings about the vocals. although i know this actually has a voice sample, the SNES version sent more of a chill down my spine.
ngomez0077 4 years ago
Actually, this version would be closer to sending a chill down my spine, because I think the singing sounds like ghosts.
jlovin4772 3 years ago
lol at the conductor who doesn't care about the rhythm. XD
Laurelindo 4 years ago 7
And the fact that the Impresario can apparently teleport on stage.
talesoffireemblem 4 years ago
He does care, but his conducting skillz are so |337 he can make everything run flawless even when he's just moving his arms randomly :O!!!!11
kokubunji 4 years ago 6
If you can make an orchestra run perfect with those director moves, you know you're a genious conductor. XD

The SNES version is superior, you don't have to deal with Load times that the discs of PSX create
HotBloodedManlyMan 4 years ago 5
have you tried to see this video while listening to orchestral game concert, the dream oath track... the timing is almost the same.
It sounds great.
By the way... it sounds so weird in GBA, why did they change it?... i really dont care if it sounds better or worse, but it sounds. different!

I must agree with you, even with the quality of the music in GBA version, the voices sound MUCH better than the SNES version.
