  • Taped mags.oh god no!

  • the mini 14 dosent even come close to the m-14 or the m-1a , its more like the . m-1 the shorter version of the m-1 with the hole in the bottom of the stock for the sling oiler and has no similaritys with its big brother, it was a 30 cal and probably killed many japs in ww2

  • @1973c0g Well yeah, the M14 uses 7.62 caliber.

  • @LukeRech i know about the m-14,i carried it in the marine corps. all im saying its closer to the m-1 30 cal and not the m-1 garand , i had a mini 14 back in the 80's and i didnt care for it

  • @1973c0g Didn't know the Military ever picked up any mini-14s. Wouldn't it be more comparable to a semi-automatic M16 though? Firing the same round and sharing the same magazine and all.

  • You don't shoot correctly

  • @iRYANMB How is he not shooting it correctly? He's not shooting for groups so that "Squeeze" shit on the trigger doesn't really apply.

  • @MRcalibrecincuenta it does apply but you just use the tip of your finger and squeeze so the weapon fires without you knowing it if you antcipate your shot you will pull too hard or close your eyes and miss

  • if ya wanna change the subject cool. thats what i say i love sherriff joe. and wish we could find many more like him. he's the bomb. arizona is lucky, us in calif ,have our wings cliupped.

  • @pnolans heard of SOPA? Thats your precious america taking away freedom online. Soon itl be other stuff in your little world

  • no safety glasses or ear protection, that's a no no! lol

  • nice gun good hunting rifle I own one my self

  • Oh great, Now i haf to find OperationThor`s comment.

  • I don't need a gun to protect myself, I can do that with a baseball bat or harsh language.

    But

    1. IN AMERICA, the constitution guarantees me the right to own and carry.

    2. I like shooting them.

I have bows and arrows as well. They are as deadly within 10 yards as a gun.

Oh well, it's like pissing in the wind to debate this. :)

  • @pnolans 10 Yards my butt! My Recurve will smack the poo poo out of someone from 50-100 yards away!

  • @naeverse HAHAHAH

ok, for many of us MERE MORTALS... at 10 yds.... etc..

  • laws and guns. You know, bank robbery is still illegal. Good thing banks don't get robbed anymore, huh?

Make carrying guns illegal...That's the solution.

BTW, I live in Colorado and have the Ranch version of this gun. No restrictions...it's a SEMI automatic.

Oh, and I haven't had the slightest urge to commit a crime with it, or any of my other guns either. Have no desire to kill people, rob banks, commit any kind of mayhem. I just like to shoot them... they're fun.

  • great rifle.

  • ive got this same style mini 14, I put a primary arms M4 style red dot. shoots awesome. I love it.

  • Flip clip style fail..tape the 2nd mag not even inch from the stock

  • @gunz779 If he wants to tape it near the bottom, who cares? Maybe that method works better for him than taping it higher up.

By the way, it's "magazine", or "mag", not "clip". Clips load the magazine, magazines feed the ammo directly into the chamber.

  • if a Mini 14 is legal in Canada..then why do they get their panties in a wad over a handgun???...this makes no sense at all...you guys in Canada are getting jerked around...

  • @raginroadrunner because hand guns are easily concealed, are you going to shove this in your pants and try to get into an airport unnoticed or maybe a school???

  • @DThompson1985 ..the handgun is NOT the problem...the user is....learn the difference...crimes with firearms can be reduced with stiffer penalties...a no brainer....but the Canadians haven't figured this out yet..and from what I've seen..they probably never will..

  • @raginroadrunner sure thing, preach that to the criminals then. Illinois has much stiffer penalties for just carrying a handgun and shit still happens. Stiffer penalties is not the answer.

  • @DThompson1985 ..one of the answers to this problem is in Arizona it is legal for anyone to carry a concealed handgun. As a result, the crime rate has dropped. Their crime rate is much lower than most of the nation therefore proving that when everyone is armed..the criminals need to be more careful.... plus, Maricopa County has a real Sheriff...and a real jail...that in itself takes the fight right out of them.

  • @raginroadrunner Maricopas County Sheriff Is A Racist Son Of A Bitch!!!

  • @brownaztlan That statement is pure, absolute bullshit!!...Maricopa County Sheriffs enforce the law of the land..you apparently are a cry babie and quite possibly something else...if you are referring to how they bust illegal alien invaders...they do a great service to our state and community..quit crying about race...that is an old worn out, over used cop out....if ya don't like it.."GET OUT OF THE USA"!!! ...and stay out..

  • @raginroadrunner Get Out Of The USA??? Shut The Hell Up With That Nonsense Why Dont You Crall Back Up Arpayos Ass And Stay There Dumb Shit.

  • @brownaztlan ..Hey..make sure you watch out..Sherriff Joe is comin after your ass...and there ain't nuthin you can do about it..you're goin down..and back to Mexico....bye bye...

  • @raginroadrunner I live in Phoenix, im consrvative, and a law abiding citizen. Sheriff Joe is not as awesome as he seems........if the world was run only by people of his caliber, it would be an ugly oppressive place. Outisders only pick up on the romanticized stories it seems. If they knew better their opinion would be different.

  • @rickrossbach However, i do approve of his illegal immigration enforcement. It seems thats the only feasible solution. Sure, Its sad, yeah, but its more dangerous and expensive to have undocumented "ghosts" with no record taking advantage of our social services and rights while jeopardizing our national security. And you cant say the perpetrators didnt know the consequence before crossing. I think both sides truely recognize that, its just one's opinion is compromised by emotional attachment.

  • @rickrossbach ...Without Sheriff Joe or someone of his character, the threat he poses to would be and active felons, Maricopa County would be impossible to live in. The illegals would be pouring in here like rats and Phoenix would join LA and Miami as cities lost to illegal invaders, crime, drugs and God knows what else. In my opinion, we need a law enforcement program that busts some real ass and sets an example of what happens to dirt bags that come here to play their games.

  • @raginroadrunner why cant calif ,have a sherriff like sherriff joe.

  • @frezdead1 ..You can...band together..find one tough , gearless son of a bitch that will spit in the Feds eye and not flinch.; The Constitution spells out the duties of the Sheriff as the ultimate arm of law enforcement. Sheriff Joe is only doing his job, therefore he is untouchable!!!..A Sheriff that enforces the laws of his Nation, State and County is the same..."Untouchable"!!!...No matter what anyone says, he follows the rule of law, treats everyone the same and he will be reelected !!

  • @raginroadrunner LOL you honestly think Joe is the answer? Wait till he catches you doing some minor shit and treats you like you murdered 30000 people. He has treated people with minor crimes such as being caught with a little bit of weed as bad as someone who has murdered a family. That guy is fucking crazy and it won't be long before he dies of old age. Or if someone puts 20 mil on his head. Shit i bet even his "loyal" sheriffs would kill him for 20 million.

  • @raginroadrunner Anyone can conceal carry a handgun, so even a psycho?

  • @Anonymous52550 dangerous psychos already carry handguns that they're not supposed to so saying anyone can just evens the playing field.

  • @raginroadrunner Plus he makes them wear pink, lol.

  • @LukeRech ..Yep..Joe is one tough ole sumbitch..life in Maricopa County without Sheriff Joe would be impossible..when he calls it quits..so do a helluva lot of the rest of us....the Mexican problem here is off the scale..they are all criminals..it's in their DNA..the only way to deal with it is to run em back to where they came from.

  • @DThompson1985 your a fool

  • @pjicleanair420 Thats funny you say that but atleast i know what im talking about.

  • @DThompson1985 You just think you do.. big difference.

  • @pjicleanair420 sure thing there pj, you didnt even explain why you think im a fool you just stated so expecting your statement to mean something. Sure sounds like im the fool....

  • there is one at my local gun store

    used it is $400

  • get caught in Canada with two 20 round mags taped together...not a plan...they are afraid someone might over throw their piece of shit government.

  • @raginroadrunner Can you tell me a government that is not a pile of shit?usa, canada, japan, etc they all rip us off the same.

  • @glockguy7..unfortunately the US sits in between two of the worst in the world.... Yes ....most governments are a pile of crap..but given a choice...I, nor would any of my countrymen, trade ours for either one of these and anything else in the entire world....Canada and Mexico...both suck...and both should be annexed by the US so we could go in gun down the vermin. ..Mexico first...and we will give Canada 30 days to get it right.

  • @raginroadrunner lived in the us for 6 years and now in canada the governments in both are about the same.except for california there is a government that sucks.the taxes are crazy and the gun laws the whole state is a shithole you can"t do anything without breaking some stupid law.attack that shithole first.mexico can go to.

  • @glockguy7 ...my apologies...yes..by all means...California is a terrible discredit to all the other states, Canada and Mexico.......all three of our nations have an incredible potential to lead the world..but the politicians. being the crooks they are, ruin the possibilities for their own benefit. I'm just runnin my mouth...Canada is a beautiful place and I have enjoyed my visits...but remember this..we're gonna kick your Canuck asses in hockey..so get ready...G'Day....RR

  • @glockguy7 Shut dude, you are so right, try living in

scotland and being told what to do by some belgium asshole in Brussels, Europe my ass, the sooner it all splits up into seperate countries again the better!!!.

  • thats breivik's gun!!!

  • @TheLampard89 Yes, that's the same kind of rifle that ABB used.

  • Damn this shit looks and sounds good! I want one!

  • Did you get that from a gunstore in KY?

  • Oh boy, that shooting noise sure takes me back.

I'm glad this weapon makes such a noise, if not, I would maybe not have recognized the gunfire at Utøya before it would be too late for me.

We started running like hell once we heard these shots.

  • @Hjernespreng Kunne ikke vært mer enig, Husker blikket i øyene hans når han rettet våpenet på meg og fyrte av, var heldig så ble bare truffet i benet.

  • if this gun good for ranges out to 200yrds and for good target shoot for a begginner shooter?

  • @darktrooper4

The .223/5.56 round has very forgiving recoil, is relatively cheap, fairly accurate, and effective on human targets beyond 400 yards.

both the .223/5.56 round and the Mini 14 are an excellent choice for a beginner shooter interested in getting into center fire rifle shooting. however if you intend to do some deer hunting with your new gun, many areas require a more powerful round to ensure a humane kill on medium to large north american game.

  • @evilsnuffalupagus hey thx for the response! =]

  • @darktrooper4

the mini 14 is a good first centerfire carbine - however if you are totally new to shooting, investing in a good .22 rifle in addition to a mini is the way to go - very cheap to shoot, fun and is great at teaching the fundamentals of shooting. I recommend the ruger 10/22. a new one can be had for around 270 dollars. you can buy a thousand rounds of .22 long rifle for the cost of a hundred .223, that means more practice.

  • Where did you get your sling? What is it called? And what attachments did you need to get before you could mount it?

  • Nice jungle mag setup. Sweet-looking Mini 14 you got there, awesome!

  • Your mag coupler looks a little awkward to me, wouldnt it be easier (and cheaper) to just tape them together? Ive never tried it so anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong

  • can u use 5.56mm nato in your rifle!!

  • @blsftw666 Only the older mini 14's can use military rounds. If your serial numer starts with 18 then you're fine. I'd be careful with a newer one.

  • @AdamTuralinski

wrong - the 580 series ranch rifles can handle 5.56x45 and .223 Remington. the Mini 14 target model is restricted to .223 ONLY.

  • @evilsnuffalupagus I have a mini 14 that was my fathers from over 30 years ago, and It is the target model. Back then all he shot was Mil Surplus ammo. That's all I shot now. This proves your statement wrong.

  • I hated the ati stock it makes the rifle way to front heavy I took it off and went back to the original synthetic stock.

  • It's definitly sounding like a WW2 M1 Carbine

  • anders behring breivik used this gun to kill kids in norway 22th july 2011

  • @skatekille awesome!

  • @skatekille Yes, and he was 100% fucked it the head. What does that have to do with this video?

  • @CornMakesWhiskey it´s the same gun you retard

  • hows the accuracy?

  • @lostd00d Ask the Norwegian guy

  • That is a sweet rifle, why get a ar 15 when you can have that. This is my favorite version of the mini m14! can't wait to get my hands on one if them!!!!!!

  • The Mini 14 is more accurate then a AK. What's up with the taped magazines? FAG. The stock is shit and it's made of some cheap plastic. I had the same one, went back to the wooden stock. You don't need shoot 60 bullets in a row that quick any ways. You are going to burn up your barrel asshole.

  • @keithmahan Dude, The stock that is standard is nowhere near as good as the ATI/TAPCO synthetic one. PLus can't a guy have fun with some guns.

  • leave it to a Call of Duty idiot to bring up the taped mags and keep comments going about it. They probably didn't know that was possible to do that with mags until Black Ops. Really though, "the NRA edition", like it's fancy? you can get that stock for less than $100. It's a Mini 14, nothing special. And why the mags look so gay that way is because the mini 14 receiver is too wide to get the full effect of taped mags. Solution: Don't do it, you're not in combat. NICE FLINCH!

  • @CabelasOutdoor4x4 i cant really visualize how that would be possible.

  • @CabelasOutdoor4x4 are you kidding? what stupid way to have twice as much ammo and a spare pouch for another clip.

  • I love my mini. Tried to turn it tactical but it was an epic fail. Check out my video about it if you want

  • esta perro el rifle. I was gonna get either a mini 14 or an AK, i decided to get the AK though.

  • How much is that gun in canada ?

  • @qcking666 idk i'm not canadian... thats what google is for...

  • @qcking666Why would you assume he's Canadian? Canadians are limited to 5 rounds per mag for semi-auto center fire rifles. If you were Canadian you would know that.

  • @BonhommeHero And why would i know everything that is related to my country .. ? I'm just asking a normal question

  • @qcking666 @qcking666 Depends on the model ball park 700-900 depending on model. You can pick em up used in the equipment exchange part of the canadiangunnutz forum. Also Check out wanstallonline . com

  • @OperationThor Finally an intelligent answer. Thank you and have a good day

  • @qcking666 Again I highly suggest becoming a member of canadiangunnutz forum. Have any questions answerd and there are links to many canadian online firearms stores that have a lot availible that i never even knew was legal in Canada. Check a local hunting store too as they do carry this rifle quite often.

  • @qcking666 if u pay over $400 dont get it mine was used for 3 months and it was $300 there about $900 new

  • @qcking666 It's $749-799 here in Canada. That what I got mine for.

  • @qcking666 you can't own that gun in canada...

  • Comment removed

  • @raginroadrunner Actually you can, the magazines just have to be pinned to 5 rounds. Retails up here for around 750 Loonies.

  • @raginroadrunner Ummmm...I own that gun entirely legally and I live in Vancouver BC Canada.

    It's not even restricted.

  • You can get them online for $668 shipped on Buds gun shop.com

  • @VTRich maybe, but i doubt that they have the NRA edition...i haven't seen one since i bought mine

  • @Bloodyfisted NRA edition? isnt that the new "tactical" mini 14 that come with the ATI stock? cause VTRich is right...That exact rifle is on buds for 668$.

  • @NotCalForReal nope thats the nra addition that he put the ati stock on. note that it doesnt have a flash supressor

  • @nra4ever4321 neither does the one that comes with the ATI stock :P

  • @NotCalForReal um.....yes it does.....all tactical mini 14s including the one with the ati stock have flash supressors

  • @nra4ever4321 nope they all dont, it wont let me post the URL but i see quite a few that come stock with the ati stock and now FS Check ableammo.com

  • @nra4ever4321 and im not trying to start a fight :) im just going off what im seeing i could very well be wrong

  • @Bloodyfisted Who gives a crap? A weapon is a tool. If it's useful, and does it's job well, it is beautiful. I would find the most expensive of engraved, handmade over-under shotguns to be ugly if it did not do it's job well.

The NRA Edition thing is cool, but not worth seeking out, or spending extra money.

This is simply my opinion, please do not take offense, as I mean none.

  • @qcking666 it looks more like a mini m14 :P lol

  • why do you have a dual mag? are you in a competition?

  • @Simplysick408 No, but why the hell not? more rounds

  • @Bloodyfisted Well not necessarily, if you had an extended magazine than yes, you would have more rounds. Not in your case though, same amount of ammunition, just quicker reload time, technically.

  • @Bloodyfisted

here is why: effects the guns balance and handling in a negative way- it makes laying prone and using cover as a rest difficult, it makes the gun more heavy than it needs to be. It also exposes the feed lips of the bottom mag to debris and impact, the clipped mags are difficult to fit in a dump pouch when empty, and they don't fit in standard magazine pouches. plus it just plain looks dumb. spare mags should be carried in a proper mag pouch attached to your belt, web gear or pack.

  • This gun looks like a new enfield

  • @qcking666 another cod fanboy

  • @Jagermeisterplz It was my first comment on Mini 14, it looks more of a M1 Garand :D Peace out

  • @Jagermeisterplz why would everyone have to be a COD fan to have things like this, Do you think people didnt start buying guns or modifying them until COD came out?

  • That stock looks like it is making him have to pull his head low .... too straight a stock can do that ? are they adjustable or do you have to diy it..... if he was in a more comfortable stance he / she would hit better groups

  • @antipike it comes with a cheek mount i decided to remove it....

  • @Bloodyfisted I raised the cheek mount and added an m4 style red dot from primary arms, puts my eye in just the right spot .

  • what are the specific name of the clamps for the magazines???

  • so how does the other mag fit into the mag well with the clamp so high? lol anyway

i wanna know if the stock is changeable with other ar style stocks? looks to be but i dont have a mini 14 or 30 stock in front of my to confirm it.

  • Does the mini 14 have alot of recoil.I just want to know if its recoil if fit for younger shooters?

  • @Bloodyvains71 Nope

  • @Bloodyfisted So,is it not fit for younger shooters or does in not have alot of recoil?

  • @Bloodyvains71 The recoil isn't bad at all...His or her arm won't be sore for sure...weight wise its kind of heavy but you could just take ur youngster and see what he thinks about the weight...

  • @Bloodyfisted Hes already seen the wait and thinks is pretty light, and good sized for him.Anyway, thank you for the information.

  • @Bloodyfisted how much do these rifles run for.. I just purchased my first rifle about a week ago (.22) and in about 6 months from now i will be moving up to a .223...i've been around firearms for quite awhile and have shot a .22 for many years so i think after getting used to my plinker i would like to move up..I'm looking at this ATI stock version, or the tactical rifle. thank you!

  • @Spillah21 So you interested in a Mini-14? The tactical will run you around $700 at a good gun store. You can imagine the ranch version to be less and the target version to be more. I would recomend using the TAPCO interfuse stock option rather than the ATI, but that's my opinion. FYI, if you go directly to the ruger site, and select the rifle you're interested in and click buy or something, it will forward you to a site that will locate a store that sells it and a quote.

  • @Spillah21 Bah. ATI stock is cool it's what i got but it adds an extra pound or two. Might wanna hurry tho, got mine 2 years ago for 650 new, they are retailing about 850 now.

  • @Bloodyfisted is this the tactical mini-14 with ATI stock? thank you!

  • Charlie. The Russian 7.62x54 is bigger than the 30aught but it's lighter for some reason. So the amount of power is questionable.

  • @Wabaanimkii 7.62x54 is sexxy especially if its a Mosin Nagant :) great round and its rather cheap

  • @Bloodyfisted well im gonna have to disagree with you considering i just bought some medium grade winchester 7.62x54r for my M44 carbine (mosin nagant) and let me tell you... i do not want to see how much the most expensive stuff costs lol

  • @DXsukIT He meant in general. Jesus man.

  • @esh325 haha thanx

  • @DXsukIT well WTF if u ever ever buy anything that is remmington or Winchester u better be ready to pay a pretty price...If u buy silver bear, brown bear, hernedy or WOLF...Learn how to shop! Russian made ammunition=Cheap

  • cool. i have a mini 14 with an ati strikeforce stock. all i need is a sling and front folding bipod

  • It looks like he's defending the border against the illegal americans.

  • @rickylain lololol

  • its just a shortend M14? or does it have a smaller caliber too?

  • @guitarshreder91 Smaller caliber. Its .223. Or 5.56mm. The M14 is 7.62x51mm. It has the same action though. Its like they took the M14 or M1-a and just shruck it all together.

  • @0102josh that what i figured it was just a shrunk down version of the M14

  • @guitarshreder91 eh yeah it is! that's why it was made! they look exactly the same

  • Personnel I think, Mini-14 is for Poor guy shoot .223

AR-15 Which is more money for a riffle +/-$1,000 USD for a little richer guy..kkk

AK-47 FOR THE WORLD OF......(YOU NAME THEM FOR ME)

  • Ranch rifle 7.62x39

    Mini-14 5.56

Ranch rifle had more stopping power

    - Do not make a mistake !! Anyway just remind 7.62x39 is AK-47 round

  • @CharlieDoan both the mini 14 is a ranch rifle, the 7.62 round is in the mini 30 which is also known as a ranch rifle.

  • is it a good combat rifle?

  • @heresteven It'll stop any intruder, that's for sure.

  • @heresteven No not really...If u've heard about or read about Mini 14s they are called "ranch Rifles" which can pretty much tell u that it's not a combat rifle.... But the .223 is nice and it can stop an intruder and is comfortable to shoot at long distances

  • @Bloodyfisted Not every Mini-14 is a "Ranch Rifle". The Mini 14 can make almost as good a combat rifle and an AR or M16.

  • @dalejrfan800 yeah "almost" i mean i have an ATI stock which is a fold able stock but it's still kinda heavy...But to be honest i like it more than the AR-15...

  • @Bloodyfisted Yeah I also like the Mini-14 more. The difference isn't enough for me to decide the AR overall is better. More accurate, but again not enough. The Mini-14 is the first firearm I used.

  • @Bloodyfisted Yeah, I like the action a lot more than the AR-15. It's such a fun gun to shoot.

  • @Bloodyfisted

ya you dont know what your talking about....

  • @heresteven If you want a good Combat rifle and an M14 A Springfield M1A 7.62x51 (.308 Win.) is a good gun. They are somewhat heavy so they are not good home defense guns but are good combat rifles. For home defense Go with a Multi shot Shogun of some kind like a SPE II or Go with a SBR if your state allows them and just pay the Tax on it (which is like 200 dollars) so for home defense rifle SBR AR 15

  • @wildcatsrock333 Got Moisin-Nagant 7.62.54R $59.00/ per rifle BIG5 Sporting goods

Shoot over the power 30.06 (American round)

-In Russia people used this gun to kill elephants,Hippos, White Bear....1 shot 2 Kills

  • @CharlieDoan Thats a damn good deal dude. Cableas has 'em for about 150 dollars.

  • @CharlieDoan

elephants and Hippos in Russia? maybe in the Zoo :D

  • The Mini-14 comes in 7.62 doesn't it?

  • @AuburnTigers111 No, that's the Mini-30, which is 7.62x39. Mini-14 is 5.56x45 (.223). They are both good rifles but the Mini-14 is much more common.

  • @AuburnTigers111

yeah. they have one model thats in 7.62 but its called the mini-30. otherwise its the same as the "ranch rifle" model of mini14

  • PEW PEW PEW! PEW PEW PEW!

  • united nations small arms treaty

is being passed under every ones nose at the senate by Obama and Hillery there is a petition against this so sign as fast as you can also there is a lot of people who have been getting raided illegally using pot as an excuse get please past this message to every gun video you see

  • @sxnoss40 really dude that is shitty! i cant believe that two faced liberal nigger.

  • Nice rifle, looks cool with the magazines jungle clipped together.

  • I like your Mini-14 - really Cool rifle stock - I think I saw some of the M14s outfitted in the same type of stock. I own a the Ruger Ranch Rifle in .223rem, only its got a wooden stock - its pretty bland compared to yours, but Im a proud Sterm Ruger owner. I hunt rabbits and black-tailed deer with it. My Ruger came from Prescott Arizona and not Connecticut.

  • I paid around 1,000 for mine i dont feel bad i love it! They only made 10,000 NRA editions... I do however i could get my hands on the first mini 14s with the folding stock that looks like a butler creek stock
