You forgot to mention that the self-pity song rips off "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tail. Not only that, but they directly stole from it, and the explosion scene from the near end of the film rips off Die Hard 2. It just shows that this movie is terrible not just for terrible songs, a terrible story, terrible animation, but no originality within the slightest. I also have high respect for the original. It's one of my top favorite movies. This, on the other hand, is a piece of shit.

the book the frist movie is based on had several sequels. why didnt they adapt one of the instead of pulling a sequel out of their ass.

The Irony in this is that despite this movie being utter crap and an insult to the Original.
Don Bluth made a movie which made less sense than this.
A Troll in Central park.
Never in my wildest dream would I ever stop Don Bluth movie halfway, push the eject button and return it.
I was that disgusted.
I only saw the ending of that movie when the Nostalgia Critic ripped on it in one of his vids.
Despite Secret of Nimh 2 flaws (which are MANY)... I manged to make it to the end of the movie.
