Yes,Thompson Park in Thompson OH. They have a great starting line prep crew and usually keep it well groomed throughout the day. Many believe its a better starting line than Norwalk.

God bless the family of Herman Lewis. He was a great asset to the sport and promoted AMC when most went with the big three. I met the man, a work mate needed Herman to build a 401 for him. His prices were very resonable and his shop was directly behind his home, in which he gave us a tour, showing all the trophies and cool memorabilia and 8mm films of him setting AHRA records. He will be missed, God bless Herman Lewis.

@tubemyballs69 Herman was my grandpaw im his grandson Brandon and Yes he was a good man.  May his love for racing live on. He has set and still holds 19 world records and over 200 wins. He made his own alluminum heads, intakes, and valve covers. Before he passsed he was getting 950 horses out of a straight motor. R-I-P 9-11-37 2-13-11

@mloboda ; I am a ford man but i like amc , olds , buick , pontiac ,chrysler . so many people run chevies in other brands . i put a 302 ford motor in a 73 vega wagon & it fits better than a 350 chev . i like different cars that are not the normal , everyday cars ! thanks !

It helps to have a rev limiter or stutter box to keep the engine at 7000 rpm while you mat the throttle. Then just sidestep the clutch. Also, this car has a Jericho trans, you just keep the pedal on the floor and bang the gears.
