Understanding the right mood is inside you when in your collection there's a record like this bought long time ago before internet era, for cheap and for the only taste you like it.
This is another dance record masterpiece from the 70's that's under appreciated, this is as soulful, an smooth as it got back in the day, quality 70's R&B, hands down...
Wow, you can see exactly what Jocelyn had to work with...and you can see how Larry put his stamp on the muzik...what a great song....the rhythm guitar grabs you and the strings take you away...the vocals are just plain mezmorizing...thank you serialfunk for the great post Peace & Love
Solid groove, I can definitely roll with this in the ride on a breezy afternoon.. would drive the young'ins crazy, saying what is that o.g. listenin to...? lol

TOP NOTCH... ahhh such a special time in music/life.... A time in music /life that will never be seen again. Old School heads are so lucky to have witnessed such a time.
Artist like this do not exist 2day.... enjoy Peace!!!
Man. Brings back some great memories of late ;78/early '79 when I was a young DJ. "It Ain't No Big Thing" was the jam & "Love Bug" was sweet too. This record is so sweet that Jocelyn Brown & Inner Life did it big time justice a few years later. Glad I still have this vinyl & Patrick Adams is a dance music genius!
la grande classe

so strange and beautiful
those strings are just sublime, they give the track such a weird, druggy vibe

Deeply classic. Like the pyramids of Egypt--effortless, timeless, the sign of another, greater era--majestic.
