Because, from the Bible's point of view, god knows that your aren't going to be dead forever and therefore cannot let you into heaven, because it would absolutely kill his main idea of getting to heaven through faith, not by knowing it's there. Yes, Heaven is where believers go after life on earth but there's no reason He can't give someone an experience for a special purpose. Faith: the boy had faith. It was simple, 3 1/2 yr old faith. Had he said a prayer in Sunday school or repented of his sins? Who knows, God sees the heart. Blessings in your search for truth.

I read the book and he had appendicitis.He told his dad that jesus showed him the waiting room when his dad was rageing at god but jesus answered his prayers and then gave back his son. His dad did not know he was there. If you read the book you would know.

This book is truly amazing. A little boy has an experience in Heaven while his family are praying for him to recover from a serious illness. I couldn't put it down. And have given it to many friends who wonder, "is this all there is?" Simply put: it's an inspiring and awesome story and glorifies the power of a loving, awesome God.

Davids body is still in the ground but Jesus' body is no longer on earth. It ascended to heaven. David is in heaven but with a new body. There were no diseases that came along with the humans. Disease is an effect of sin. God created humans and gave them free will. We chose sin instead of trusting God and therefore we released sin and everything bad into the world. God knew that would happen, but he didn't stop it. He didn't stop it because then he would not truly be giving us free will. He knows what we will choose, but that doesn't mean he is taking our free will away. He see's the end, but still allows us to choose.

But you can pray and ask God to help you see it. It's far more than just a "nice story". It's the power of God! Because, from the Bible's point of view, god knows that your aren't going to be dead forever and therefore cannot let you into heaven, because it would absolutely kill his main idea of getting to heaven through faith, not by knowing it's there. If anyone can answer this (not just babble words like an unhelpful teacher but ANSWER it) I would greatly appreciate it.

@0gluttony0 This is sort of addressed in the book, but there are instances in the Bible where God gives people special revelations and/or an experience in Heaven. Yes, Heaven is where believers go after life on earth but there's no reason He can't give someone an experience for a special purpose. Faith: the boy had faith. It was simple, 3 1/2 yr old faith. Had he said a prayer in Sunday school or repented of his sins? Who knows, God sees the heart. Blessings in your search for truth.

The only conclusion anyone can come to is that heaven is NOT the "reward of the saved"--that Christians do NOT go to heaven when they die, or when resurrected.

You could also just as easily say he was trippin on meds and endorphins, he probably was, but the things he claimed to see were pretty specific(dead relatives) as though they were intended to be seen, so that his parents could know it was legit. I read the book and he had appendicitis.He told his dad that jesus showed him the waiting room when his dad was rageing at god but jesus answered his prayers and then gave back his son. His dad did not know he was there. If you read the book you would know.

This book is truly amazing. A little boy has an experience in Heaven while his family are praying for him to recover from a serious illness. I couldn't put it down. And have given it to many friends who wonder, "is this all there is?" Simply put: it's an inspiring and awesome story and glorifies the power of a loving, awesome God.

This is one poorly edited video, If I die and hear that music I'll know I am in hell. He recalls those characters because he was taught about those people before hand. In nearly every NDE, people's beliefs reflect what they see on the other side, very possible that in most cases that people are not truly experiencing anything supernatural but something chemical in the brain. However I do believe that there are a few who truly have crossed over and have come back.

While he is eleven in this video, the events he describes actually occurred when he was four, and the details he recounts are Scripturally sound, yet he was not at the age where he could properly understand the more confusing aspects of the Bible. If you do read the book, you will see that each of the characters and sights he recalls he does not even know words for; he can only describe how they look and feel, implying his innocent knowledge.

I asked where the book came from, apparently it belongs to my sister who is extremely religious as so is my parents. My mother was borrowing it from sister. @GMisurdaddy 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 "I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven--whether in the body of out of the body, I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows--and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter." The third heaven here is heaven, or the "dwelling place of God." There are many more instances, also found in the Bible.

Parents should be arrested for brainwashing their kid. A 4 year old thinks he went to heaven. NOTE: 4 year olds tend to have very active imaginations, are gullible and will believe anything their parents tell them, and most people just start being able to remember things at age 4 which means this kid might not even remember his experience correctly.

@BMoney33 Just a reminder don't take things out of context. Peter was making an example that even king David did not ascend into heaven no one did. Only Jesus the son of god did. Davids body is still in the ground but Jesus' body is no longer on earth. It ascended to heaven. David is in heaven but with a new body. Also 2 Corinthians 6:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord

im not a doubter but i am very skeptical. all of the things he is talking about is what is already mentioned in Revelation and other parts of the Bible. i know God can do and does awesome things, but this-the whole boy went to heaven thing-is pretty skeptical considering he is just stating scripture. and as far as the family goes, everyone tells children dead people are in a better place. just saying whos to say that he just had one awesome dream?

@standingbythecross I cant say for sure that this happened but, first read the book before commenting on it it is explained well. Although i don't have evidence that this happened i have faith to believe it did. I guess we will find out when we get to heaven.

There were no diseases that came along with the humans. Disease is an effect of sin. God created humans and gave them free will. We chose sin instead of trusting God and therefore we released sin and everything bad into the world. God knew that would happen, but he didn't stop it. He didn't stop it because then he would not truly be giving us free will. He knows what we will choose, but that doesn't mean he is taking our free will away. He see's the end, but still allows us to choose.

dead people cannot see,hear,think or talk.. when your dead your in a sleep until Jesus comes back and resurrects everyone with a new body. this boy did not die or went to heaven because the bible clearly states that the dead have no conscience at all. once again the dead cannot interact with the living as in the living cannot interact with the dead.. those "ghosts" you see are not people but demons pretending to be dead people to fool living humans

I was given this book * heaven is for reals a christian book store gave it to me after my husband died in a car accident may2011 they also engraved his last text message he sent me that morning in our love dare marriage edition i got home and read the whole book in one day i wanted to know where he was,,, ill tell you all believe please not for mine but you i get signs every so often that he"s with me and his four girls i cant explain it ....but i believe ......
