Phil is a good guy, in the end we all love the way he acts, even the childish moments, but even if you don't, give him some credit 'cause he's improving. And yeah, everyone knows that Ivey and Dwan are cash game geniuses and Phil is not; but Phil is still the greatest tournament player.
I watched this guy play 15 hrs at the WSOP Player's Championship, and let me tell you, it's not an act. He's not a brat as much as he is disappointed that his traps don't work and people keep bluffing at him. He's an amazing player and has a huge heart.

He was good when there were 300 people in the WSOP and people only 3-bet with As, Ks, or Qs, maybe AKs. He hasn't adapted to the new era of poker, plain and simple. He loses money online, and his last major cash was I think the 2008 National Heads Up Championship.

Phil i think ur great entertainment but as a poker player your not the best, Ivey, durr, Antionous to name but a few are on a level that you have never been on, nor are you capable of being on, it didnt excist in the 90s where you enjoyed your sucess, these guys are the best and its embarrassing when you claim in puplic that you are the best because its painfully obvious to anyone who has a clue about poker that you are not. Still one of my favourite players to watch though, never a dull moment.
Phil. Please stop trying to be someone you're not at the tables. All that new "nice BS" is not what made you famous. You telling a guy how it is, is something that is necassary and special. Tell them how good you are, how many bullets you can dodge, and how sick the donkeys run. WSOP 2010 was a dissapointment, mainly because you didn't live up to your reputation. I hope we will see you on fire in the WSOP 2011.
You've been working on your etiquette? It's been 21 years and you haven't stopped being a jerk to those at the table. For example my friend Shankar who beat you out of a bracelet in 2007 in the $3K No Limit Event. You might be a nice guy away from the table, but on the felt you're just a jerk, doesn't mean I don't respect your play in NLHE...
