  • lets start cutting some tanks and jet fighters

  • does it start with a boom when it breaks the sound barrier??

  • but didnt the SR - 71 go faster than mach 4?

  • i don't think you should put your hands under that

  • it was funny when he said " Force = mass times acceleration" right after he mentioned it creates a high velocity, velocity is different than acceleration...

  • mohamed hashish, what a badass name.

  • If it can cut through metal it will completely bi-section your body dumbass.

  • My geography teacher said he went somewhere where somebody slid their finger through a water cutter and asked, "Is that really water?"

His finger flew across the room.

  • could that cut your hand

  • @rhyskallen No, it only is able to cut through 1/4 and sometimes 1/2 inch steel. But no, you hand is way to strong get cut. Use common sense man...

  • @XxENovaxX common sense vs. technology its hard these days and metal is stronger than a hand so..... not common sense

  • @rhyskallen How can you not read the IMMENSE sarcasm in that comment?

  • @XxENovaxX i can but why do you feel the need to be SARCASTIC to someone you dont even know?

  • @rhyskallen IT CUTS DIAMOND! The hardest material on earth. Derp

  • can it cut a diamond =D

  • i wanna see how far it can spray

  • Extreme Water Gun Fights :D

  • That narrator has an excellent voice.

  • I wish Josh or Chuck narrated this...

  • i have a feeling the bozo narrator hasnt got a clue what the hell hes talking bout :P

  • wudder

  • So. . .what happens when you put your hand in the stream?

  • @nullrox you cut yourself obviously.

  • "Ive been expecting you Mr. Bond"

  • stop using my semen "FLOW" , that's not water , EVERYBODY KNOWS , oh wait , do they?

stop making me spew semen with your hot girls already!!!

    although it feels damn good

  • I wonder if this could be turned into a military grade weapon? It would be like a flamethrower. But if the tank got shot, it wouldn't explode you.

  • @kickflipinyaface That's not physically possible

  • @armitx9 How dare you try to soil my dreams. Explain yourself heathen!

  • @kickflipinyaface I'm saying that it's not possible now and neither will it be inn the next few years.

  • Imagine a water fight....it wouldn't last long. All am sayin :D

  • They just said WHAT it does not HOW it works. Ofcourse ther is a pump and same water...

  • @ivanmanko IT CRATES A MASSIVE FORCE BY CREATING HUGE VELOCITY AND HAVING A SMALL OPENING. ARE YOU DEAF?!

  • ....abrasive is added to the water too !

  • chuck norris pee pee

  • Chuck Norris washes his ass with this!

  • I was brought to this video because of Mortal Kombat...Rain has this as his SWORD.

  • The water streams out at 40,000 psi plus. It's often mixed with garnet(crushed granite) and has no problem cutting through the hardest steel. It however loses velocity as it strips down the edge of the steel creating a J curve, flaring out at the base of the steel plate, therefore making keeping a tight tolerance difficult.

  • @VertigonA380

not really a problem anymore though with when you can control all 5 axis. calibration is a bitch, but possible

  • that would make a hell of a weapon...... just sayin

  • @boyjones1223 Nah... The water wouldn't maintain such speeds at longer ranges... Plus it would never stay together as a stream...

  • @preggy987 if they found a way to make it larger (like the size of a fire hose, but still maintain the pressure) it could work. but, just fantasizing.

  • Has anyone pointed it up?

  • Lol is that dudes last name seriously Hashish?

  • Since when is water super effective against steel?

  • @MrDiem2 Lol.......never expected that to come up

  • 1:19 - Story of my life.

  • The cool guy voice is annoying as FUCK. SOme one please replace him with a normal sounding guy

  • What this video fails to mention is how the waterjet is mixed with a powdered abrasive before it is sprayed out. The water itself will not cut much, its the abrasive thats injected into the jet that does all the work...

  • good god that was the most uneducated educational video I've ever seen

  • American educational TV is so fucking stupid. What do you need those comparisons for? Mach 4?

  • @captainLAGER It's educational and helps the audience understand the concept better.

  • That guy's last name was Hashish!

  • Wait, force is equal to mass * acceleration? Shouldn't he be talking about how momentum is equal to mass * velocity?

  • Imagine using instead of just water some abrasive solution with sand or grits of fine metal ..at that speed you may be able to perform better and more agresive

  • @fastlane59 If it's not liquid, it won't work because the pieces are too large.

  • This was Metal Gear Ray's main weapon!

  • chuck norris peeing speed

  • so, why would this be better than a laser or diamond tip cutter?

  • @bermuge well to start with, its water so it would cool as it cuts

  • @bermuge The video never said that.

  • @armitx9 Question was posed at 0:35.

  • @bermuge crap. But water doesn't divide itself. Diamonds get broken sometimes. Lasers can be a lot of thungs. Many of the are just light and cab't cut anything. You have to be specific.

  • @armitx9 Makes sense what you said. I'd ask the video to be more specific though. :)

  • Chuck Norris peeing.

  • how often does the water get dull and need to be sharpened/replaced

  • muhamed smokes hashish

  • Wouldn't the water cause sonic booms?

  • @Aslapacrosstheface sonic booms are cause by the displacement of air. A stream of water moving at this speed wouldn't displace enough air to cause a sonic boom.

  • @umthatdude But it still displaces some air. Your explanation is incomplete.

  • @Aslapacrosstheface You need to read his comment again. "...wouldn't displace enough air to cause a sonic boom." The explanation was complete.

  • @matrim41 how much air do you need to displace to cause a sonic boom?

  • @Aslapacrosstheface no. you wouldn't.

  • @jsnsykes Yes I would.

  • you wont need soap when you wash your hands with this

  • @EmperorAdrian

No, you wont need any soap.. or gloves.. ever !

I'm operating one of these right now. It takes about 0.8 of a second to punch through 10 mm steel plate ( a bit thicker than 3/8 imperial ).

Human body will not even slow down the jet. Speed of the jet is about 900 metres per second....

  • in mother russia, the laser beams you!

  • @thismycityldv faggot

  • I wonder how far it would shoot if you could shoulder the device? A real water gun lol.

  • @pickchicken damn it Samantha the label said not to aim the supper soaker delux at your brother!

  • This is how fast I pee :D

  • @MiguelXSR then your missing out :P

  • @MiguelXSR step in the que

  • makes me thirsty

  • lemme just wash my hands really quick....

  • The voice over guy sounds like a moron.

  • i run these machines (jet edge) looking at the flow pump, yikees, ill keep with my jet edge, lol

  • How far would the water go if you aim it at something? Like you can give the plants in your garden water from a while away? LET IT RAIN BABY

  • The jet disperses pretty quickly in air or water. It would be disappointing. It would basically become a (very loud and forceful) mist after a number of feet.

  • someone put ur hand under the water jet

  • i agree someone shuld do that

  • Someone probably did...

  • @Deancasser they dont let people use these things, they stay far clear and use robots. one guy had it but let go and the hose started spinning and cut him in half

  • @Deancasser you read my mind

  • @Deancasser arrr ffs thats what i was thinking curse you! mortal!

  • I'm sure I learnt in physics that you cannot compress a liquid?

  • you cant compress a liquid but you can put it under pressure ,

  • technically u can but the tech doesnt exist

  • u cant but u can presureise it

  • The compression is not significant in liquids thou...

  • i cannot believe you just posted that!, its not being compressed its being pressurised

  • pjholl: I'm sure I learnt in physics that you cannot compress a liquid?

Yes, but you can compress farts.

  • You should have experienced this during anal sex with your boyfriend.

  • very cool
