  • @Waxthumper Love the way you faded Beths picture in, nice touch.

  • Better than Findley Quay. Much.

  • Just found out that it's possible to fall in love with a song.

  • I saw Beth at the Newport Folk Festival many years ago. She was great then and discovering these Orbit collaborations on YT makes her great to me now!

  • I think I listened to this song almost 1 million times I just can't get over it, it's like my soul comes out when it plays. William Orbit and Beth Orton are both greatest artists ever.

  • Has she ever performed this live?

  • @CornflakeGirlDC I wouldn't think so no, she doesn't really acknowledge this album as hers. Orbit kept the majority of the tracks as his in later years, including this.. re-releasing it with Finley Quaye. The few songs she has kept are completely new versions, and Orbit has versions on his Hinterland also.. such as She Cries Your Name.

  • Thanks for putting this up

    What albums it off??#

  • Thanks for putting this up

  • She put on a spell on me. She possessed me. And she couldn't keep it together forever

  • LUVVVVVVVVV IT

  • Ok freezegirl so your a cunt who cares what an idiot u realy are

  • I LOVE Beth!

  • I used to listen about 10 years ago. I loved it a lot... Best track in that album.

  • It's coming in much clearer now...

  • Is this a B-side, downloadable anywhere? I love this song, it's like floating in water... and something i cannot put my finger on. Which is good.

  • @amylh322 It's really hard to find, it's from Superpinkmandy.

However: To listen to other versions of this song put "orbit streamcast" in your search box and have a browse through the different channels he has up there. there are five or six versions up there, I like the"guerilla canyon instrumental mix"

  • @saintarthur2 - Thanks! I appreciate it, & will definitely check that out!

  • this is extasy!!! best sound ever. and dice with finley quaye is amazing too. when you listen to this is like being in heaven it's incredible

  • thankyou

  • Not really on the OC, it is obscured and blended in deliciously with Finley Quaye.

  • The OC :) Oh my gosh I love this!

  • Transistor in these parts...like it.

  • Love it .. and I feel it is the definition of Dysfunctional Love .. x

  • like if you heard this from the OC !!!

  • Awesome technique. I don't know the poster of the song did it him/herself but it's very effective and I've never seen it before. Kudos!

  • out standing track & her voice, wow, any one know where u can get a cd of this please ? turk

  • Oh amazing, never heard this version. I absolutely love Beth Orton, and Mr Orbit most definitely has the midas touch, these two were a great combination for sure!

  • I like this much better than Finley Quaye's version...it's ethereal and almost spooky, then melts into that laid-back beat. Great pool music.

  • thank you!!!!I wish i could find the mp3!

  • I'm a long time fan of Orbit and always liked the tracks with Beth Orton singing on them. So I like this. Start sounds a teensy bit like a Coldplay song though!

  • Wow! I had no idea; I thought this was a Finley Quaye song! It's like discovering an early version of Stairway to Heaven written and recorded by Lenon and McCartney before Zep got a hold of it. While you gotta give mad props to Orton and Orbit for creating "Dice", for me, the song is more focused and really comes to life in the Quaye and Orbit remix. Thanks for posting Waxthumper.

  • Wow... an amazing song!!!!!

  • Que excelente canción. congenital heart of a melody

  • @jellytotjade1 - Nada at amazon, they keep sending me to Quaye :) (Which i already have and love too). Hm... mystery!

Thank you for posting this Waxthumper!

  • 5 thousand copies, a Japan only release...very rare indeed...And no, I don't have it...

    Good luck...

  • Beautiful song! The best one on that album. I like Finley Quaye's remix too.

  • Wonderful stuff, is this..Now, should someone post 'Don't Want to Know 'bout Evil' , well, that would be special indeed....

Found Beth Orton by accident, one of those artists that you listen to whatever she does.

And yes, I wish I was lucky enough to have 'SuperPinkyMandy'

    Bazzin', is what she is...

  • what a haunting voice she has, just love it!!!!!!!!!!! great track
