  • Long live united Spain! That it's what makes Spain unique, different languages and customs!

  • FREE BASQUE COUNTRY greetings from IRELAND

  • im from Peru, from a city where the basques setled and builded one of the best cities in Peru, aswell my city was the first city in declare independence from the spaniards, as well im proud, because part of our basque history fighting first against the muslim invations, and now fighting for our freedom with Spain and France.

  • I know of 3 race variations Black, Asian, White... like primary colors.

Blood types are A, B, AB, or O. Genes are X, Y recessive and dominant.

Our species has variation: the evolution theory isn't completely out of the question. All of the above mixed like paint on a convas, it's called shading. ART 101 &

Anthropology 101 might teach a lesson about your existence and the entire history of world. Experience it... It might open your mind up.

  • It's a shame to see so many people mislead. Many scholars who have power always deceive us for personal gain. They try to convince the world how different we are when are constantly deceived by our own history. I feel sorry for people who are brain washed into this system and feel superior because of their skin color. Like who really cares! There's ugly people inside and out everywhere. Any kind of people can have the worst features, physically, history, minds and morals.

    are rotten.That's ugly!

  • People have the right to practice their belief, but they should question it.

Sometimes our beliefs can be morally wrong and be contradictive.

People languages are different, but even languages have influences from other idioms. It's like music. When are people human homo sapiens whatever color just going to realize we changed things due to our creativity to be different, to stand out amongst the rest, power, and greed. We did this to ourselves because we are born to create and destroy then lie.

  • I'm tired of this myth that people have to be aryan ha! ha! European to be the right kind of people/ race. Seriously, Europeans of all people love to fornicate just like anyone else regardless of religious rules, please! Just look at their movies everything is about sex. So what really!but don't lie about it! The world revolves around SEX. I'm NOT surprised these horny european men in the hay day or whatever they brand themselves now, didn't fornicate with anything or whatever they contacted.

  • Iberia sounds similar to Siberia without S... C'mon People! Regardless of class structure, everyone is mixed. I don't believe that their are any special people. Languages are important regardless what you look like. The fact people want to separate race to feel superior makes them racist. It creates racism. Instead of making people understanding, exploring various custom, rituals, languages, music, dance & open themselves other ideologies. Everyone's branded like clothes line. Disgrace;Disgust.

  • @cine2221 i am from the basque country and you should read a little bit more about us, before calliing us racist! its not being racist or not, we only revindicate our culture and language. The same culture and language that the spanish and french wanted to destroy.

PD: im sorry about my english, my level isnt very high =)

  • very informative and such beautiful music.

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpain1X WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, MAN? That we are from north of Garonne river? De donde coño te lo has sacao, majo? You are a bit lost... we have been living here since glatiation, from where started to populate almost all the atlantic coast from aquitaine to "french" (i am with you, brothers) britain and great britain (3/4 parts of their gens have their origins in the north of iberian peninsula) 3500 are the first years of our people's history... listillo

  • long live the Basque Country respect from England for now and always

  • la mitad de lo que as escrito no te lo crees ni tu

  • spanish is basquified latin ffs

  • the most common lastname in spain is garcia n its basque

  • Basque separatism mostly stems from Marxists and other leftists movements who opposed bastard Franco

  • Spain cant be understood without the Basques

  • The Spanish language was formed in Basque lands so fuck separatists who confuse people about the Basque people...the Basques are amongsts the most important people in Spain's history if not the most important so fuck separatists for putting people against us and makin people believe Spain is what it is without the Basques...when the Basques were the ones who helped the most to form Spain..key in the creation of the Spanish language n the discovery of america.

  • @XJorgeLorenzoSpain1X

basques are invaders native north of Garonne and French Brittany (Vardules, Wascons), they pervade the north of Spain from the 6/7th century having conquered wisigoths then Charlemagne and the germanic troops, their descendant also occupies for 50 % Galicie and for 70 % the Catalonia, but not elsewhere in Spain.

  • i have a question... Do you love Catalunya or Spain ?

  • @PremierLeague2010 Catalunya!!!!!!!

  • my great grandfather was 25% basque, 25% spanish, and half italian.

  • @zacatetas so?

  • @zacatetas k

  • Basques are related to South Caucasians Georgians

  • Basques are part of the Old Iberian and Kolkh People, who inhabited the Meditareanneas Sea before GReek came to Europe in 12-13 centuriesd B.C. The Georgian tribes and the Ibero-Caucasian Race and Basque people are relative nations.

  • @Kavkazec

Armenia never ruled Spain. Keep dreaming.

  • @RobertBruceBanner who said that Armenia ruled spain??? read carefully next time dude!!! i said only that the Basque ppl are originaly from SOUT CAUCASIA...its mean from Georgia and Armenia...got that?? keep you dreaming im dreaming ponk ass

  • @Kavkazec

basques is ancient of 3500 years as their English and welsh brothers, the R1b forefather group of Basque - Celtic and germanic is originally from Volga, but from the Siberia.

  • terrorist fucks

  • Basque Country new potencial country!!!

  • rerere

  • Euska herri maitia!!! Beti bihotzean!!! Gora Euskal Herria Askatuta!!!

  • Eskual Erri forever!

  • Basques and Bretons are genetically the single people, and that they are in Spain or in France change nothing.

  • I have heard that Georgian and Basque people are relative (akin) people, what do u know about it????

  • cromagnon-iberian (Yugoslavian 40 %, French 10 %) or Viking (Finnish 75 %, Scandinavian 25 %, German 20 %, brittons and Basque 12 %) is one of the elements European, but 46 % of the European (Gaelic, Saxon) are indo-european R1b.

    Basque = proto-Celtic 73 % R1b, 12 % or more I, I1 Viking, and Slavonic 10/5 % R1a, but not of G or of J as at the Armenians or Georgians.

Basque are very close of English Brittons and Bretons of France.

  • BEAUTIFUL LAND!!

  • Thank you for the video. Do you have more videos on the Basque Country?

    Thanks

  • im basque (euskalduna)and i have and other video of my country. enter in yotuve "theagint"

  • I have a question is the name (Nungaray) Basque?

  • WTF!? I've never met a Nungaray outside of my core family! Please PM me!!!

  • Yes my great grandparents left Spain in the early 19th century to settle in Guadalajara, Mexico. Nungaray is not a common sur name in Spain so thats why I was wondering if it is Basque>>

  • LOL, Are you sure we're not related!? My family moved to Trujillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. And from the research I've done, yes, it's Basque.

  • iceblue775:

Your surnameis as Basque as they come, and it means in Spanish "el alto de la colina= Nun or nuin, colina and garay=alto o en lo alto y tambien puede significar, granero u horreo.

Por tanto nungarai or nungaray puede ser, lo alto de la colina o el granero en la colina.

Garay is very popular in the Basque country, either in the French side or the Spanish one.

    saludos

    algunos apellidos con garay:

  • popular Basque names with "garay" in them:

Acheritogaray, Echegaray, Garayalde, Garaicoechea, Garayzabal, Nungaray, Landagaray, Elezgaray, Garaykomendi,

    Norzagaray,Lasgaray, Garayoa, Echetxipigaray, etc,etc,etc.

    Greetings from a Basque,

    Agur

  • Mr. Jumbo8, whats truely sad is an ignorant maleable population so easily formed into hate by greedy politicians. Get out of THEIR box. Most human beings don't hate or start wars for the ell of it they are duped into sacrificing themselves for a false "patriotism" to justify a political monetary interest. Do some research buddy, stop being a pawn!

  • The real Iberians , the aboriginals of Iberia are the basque nation - in my oppinion-

Spanish and Portugese language are romanized by hundreds of years. But the isolated basque stayedhat what was before.

    The freedom will come.

    Euskadi most indepent.

    Hail from Hungary.

  • it's sad to see idiots like you from hungary talking about something you haven't got a clue about. 1, the basque country is part of Spain for more than 500 years ago. 2, some of the great spanish people and many conquistadorsin the americas were basques 3, it's only in the past 60 years that a claim for independence has been made due to the influence of terrorist groups from taliban afganistan, ireland, kurdish and al quaida. The basque country has been part of spain since spain is a country.

  • This is Hungary, and not USA. We know about the world.

I totally agree with you in all three point.

But this not change the history...

  • iv been wondering about this place my last name is basque and were french/ spanish canadians

  • The last name Orozco originated in Basque Country, right?

  • right

  • ETA, the basque terrorist organisation, is a neonazi group that has killed many children and women in Spain during the past 50 years. FUCK ETA!!!

  • it isnt neonazi its a radical left-wing organisation not neonazi

  • the spanish civil war was won by the facist Franco. now the spanish nation is only supported fully in madrid. the galacians, catalans and the basque people in the form of ETA are in a struggle for independance from Franco's spain. the spanish police in the basque wear balaclavas and are the real terrorists there. your claims that the left-wing ETA are neonazis couldn't be further from the truth. at least google it you stupid prick!!!

  • Ur joking right?, eta is leftwing...neo nazi is rightwing

    EPIC FAIL

  • oxineta18

    Why are you saying that?

My great parents are BASQUE and I have a Basque LAST NAME. I am highly attracted to the BASQUE COUNTRY so much, that one day I want to die there.

My only daughter, born in Canada ( I was bor in Argentina) LOVE the Basque country!

  • DId I told something bad? Or you did not understand what I was telling or you miss somehting. The only thing that I was telling is that we want Independece and they (Spanish/French gov.) dont want to give us.

  • Welsh people are Iberians, from the Basque people - the Basques have the Original European Language - respect and solidarity.

  • DNA studies have shown that most people in the British isles are descended from the same bronze age people from the Basque region.

  • very proud of my basque ancestry... long live our people

  • is basque a seperate country or just an area in spain?

  • North basque country is in france, and south basque country is in spain..

    we will be free again!

    Gora Euskal Herria!

  • ironicly its called basque COUNTRY/PAIS vasco even thought it is not a country

  • @akumie that's preciselly why it is called the Basque COUNTRY - el PAIS Vasco, Euskal-HERRIa, BaskeLAND , Paese basco Страна на баските, Баскские земли Tír na m Bascach, Gwlad y Basg et al. because it already is ( always has been) one Country, melón.

P.S. defind COUNTRY please :) Eskerrik asko

  • Oso ondo :-P, well I think basque country is a country if it has things like own military, doesnt pay taxes to Madrid, you need passport to enter euskal herria and so on

Would be fun when euskal herria becomes a country and has only euskara as official language, haha then so many (70%+) could not be able to live in euskal herria and 75% of people in Navarra would cry because they are not part of Pain :-P

    Agur :)

  • Basque are of Atlantean descent

  • Freedom for the Basque Country,

Absolutely beautiful place and amazing people.

  • Eta berriz diot ez badugu ulertzen iberiarra, berdintasun fonetikoak atera daitezke(japonieratik ere bai)baina berdintasun morfologikoak eta sintaktikoak ...nekez.Dana dala nik ez dut esaten iberiarra eta euskera lotuta ez daudenik, zihurtatzeko nahiko aztarna ez daudela baizik.

  • Latin klasikoa ere hitzen arteko tarterik ere idazten zen. Nik ez dut Alonso izeneko hori ezagutzen, baina linguista bat baino gehiago dago loturaren bat ikusten duela. Gehienak direla uzte dut. Iberiar hizkuntza ez dago guztiz deszifratuta. Bakarrik zati txiki bat deszifratuta dagoela esaten dute. Baina zati txiki honetan euskararekin lotzen duen antzekotasun mordo bat aurkitu dute. Eta berdintasunak ez dira bakarrik lexikoan. Importanteenak fonetikoak, morfologikoak eta sintaktikoak dira.

  • Ta ze linguista dira hoiek?

  • AUPA ETA

  • Hain zuzen ere da akitaniarrarekin duen lotura iberiar hizkuntzarekin lotzen duena. Erromatarrak esaten zuten akitaniarrak eta iberiarrak fisikoki berdinak iruditzen zirela, eta hizkuntza antzekoak hitzegiten zutela ere uste zuten. Orokorrean loturaren bat onartzen da, baina ez dira ados jartzen zer mailako lotura duten. Baina egia da ez dela akitaniarra eta euskararen dagoen lotura bezain gogorra izango.

  • kontua da inork ez dakiela iberiar hizkuntza deszifratzen.Alonso izeneko batek euskeraren bitartez lortu zuela esan(gaur egungo hiztegiak erabilita hitz latindarrak eta guzti) zuen baina esaldi zentzugabeak atera zituen, gertatzen da iberiar idatziak ez dutela hitzen arteko tarterik eta Alonso honek nahi izan zuen bezela prestatu zituen esaldiak esanahi bat edukitzeko.Beraz ez dakigunez iberiarra nolakoak zen gutxienez ausarta iruditzen zait euskerarekin lotuta dagoela zihurtatzea

  • Eusko-iberismoa ez da inundik inoa probatuta dagoen teori bat,Alengindu dira bai loturak bilatzen baina ez dute lortu, orokorrean linguista gehienek antzinako hizkuntza akitaniarrarekin lotzen dute euskara, dirudienez hizkuntza euskeriko bat zen.Beste hizkuntzarekiko loturak :iberiarra, bereberea, kaukasiarrak eta abar ,ezin dira probatu ez dagoelako aztarna nahikorik.Baliteke inoiz lotura bat egon bazen orain dela milaka urtetakoa izango zen eta baliteke ezinezkoa izatea loturak topatzea.

  • Basque culture have a lot in common with other spanish cultures, like bullfighting, pelota vasca (basque ball), oar boat races, traditional dances and musical instruments, the main language... and thousands of years of history in common, and more than 500 hundreds inside Spain (since its formation).

  • Basque nationalism is below 10% in french basque region. The main language in the basque country is the castilian spanish. Euskera language is related to other old spanish languages, and today is a minoritarian language in the basque country. You can see all this in wikpedia for example. The most similar people to basques in europe are other spanish. Take a look to the genographic project.

  • You are ignorant liar!

  • Dont be stupid. Anyone can contrast my statements with public information like results of elections and all the Statistical surveys made here.

  • Comment removed

  • that public informations like the elections, do you really think that are valid when spanish government is ilegalizing political parties? dont call ignorant, when you have quite a lot of it

  • minoritarian because in the time of spanish dictatorships the basque culture was forbidden

  • almost erradicated

  • Some trues about Basque Country. Most people of the basque country feel themselves spanish and also basques, in the same ways as asturians feel themselves asturians and also spanish. (You can see it in the data from pools and elections). Basque nationalists say that Navarre is part of the basque country, but basque nationalism is a very small minority in navarre, they feel themselves as navarres, and they don't want to remove the borders between Basque Country and Navarre.

  • Euskera antzinako iberian penintsula ekialdeko beste hizkuntzekin lotuta dago. Har ezazu begirada bat (wikipedian adibidez) ea zer ikusten duzun iberiar hizkuntza (edo hizkuntzei) buruz.

  • Kauezotz!!!!Euskerian inguruan hainbeste tontakei entzun biharra ere.Anibalen teori hori zorakei bat da,zeba hori dana oain dala 2200 urte gertau zan gutxigorabehera ,ta gure arbasuak garai hartako berereberiak izan bazian onezkeo linguiztak ateata zaken parekotasun bat euskeria ta gaur egungo bereberien hizkuntziakin.

kontua da oaindik iñok ez doala topau ganorazko aztarnaik ,euskeria beste hizkuntz batekin lotzeko, beraz zientzialari askok pentsatzen deue, euskeria bertoko hizkuntzia dala.

  • I`m a Basque in Puerto Rico,from Gaztambide family.

  • The Basques are the first people in Europe, we have the oldest languages, Spanish jealousy is because they have no culture like ours, we are related to the Scots, Irish and English, but the Spanish people are Latins, we the basques are European We want independence because Spain is a drag on our economy, Gora Euskadi!

  • The Basques we are human as other people. We are born,we live and we dye. What you say sounds racist. We are no more no less than other countries.

  • ekherrrrrrrri

  • No, this is basque language, comes from Maghreb, it's a kind of an arabized berber language imported during the invasion of Italy by Hannibal. It's been spoken in Nothern Spain, not too far from Africa

  • ive got it from good reliable source, that you are wrong, wrong, wrong

there hasn't been a person more wrong

    like I said, reliable source

  • I am Basque!

  • you are Basque-Murder terrorists ETA

  • thats not true the basques came from the north of africa their relativesare the berbers they are not the earlier people ifnot the last people on the peninsula.all this is bullshitnacionalist propaganda they want to invent our origins

  • gora euskadi ta askatasuna!

  • Beautifful Land , Freedom to Basque , love Bosnia

  • Mi familia no me enseñó inglés, solo español. Que malos !!!!!

  • mi familia no me enseno vasco, solo espanol...que malos!!!

  • I just wish this video brought to people's attention the fact that all of that culture is in danger of extinction at the hand of the spaniards!!!

  • i dont understand this. at least they recognize it as a culture and language. france doesnt even recognize us as a people!

  • visca euskalherria!!1, ojala nosaltres aconseguim lo mateix

  • I'm Basque:)

  • yes, i'm from the basque country, i can't give you information about the oinaz gamboa conflict because simply i haven't got any idea....and yes, i'm from gipuzkoa!....

  • Such a beautiful country.

  • indeed, a small one but full of colours and mountains, thank you!....

  • Are you a native to the Basque lands or did you move there? The Gipuzkoa region fascinates me the most.

I been trying to get all the information I can get regarding the Oinaz and Gamboa conflict of the late middle ages. It's a subject that interest me. Although, I have not had much luck. You wouldn't happen to know where I can get more information regarding this topic?

  • in youtube orson welles in the basque country

  • Some say we Basques are descended from the Atlanteans.

  • thats ridiculous!

  • LOL, that´s the funniest joke I´ve heard in a long tim.

  • no entiendo, no se supone que esto es españa??? o ellos quieren separarse de el pais??

  • españa?claro que queremos separarnos!

  • yo no me siento español, YO SOY VASCO

we are not spain we are not ETA

    WE ARE ONLY BASQUE

  • he said the basque country was 20,000 square kilometeres!? Impossible.

  • a tarlang...

  • So please, don´t try to confuse people abroad.

  • estigmax87, Spain ridicules euskera? Actually people in Euskadi who defends Spain and its symbols are ridiculed and what is more serious, they are killed in many cases. And most of the spaniards think that the diversity of the country with its regions and languages is something to proud of, not something to ridicule. How many people do you know hate Euskadi or Catalonia? And now ask yourselves, how many pople do actually hate Spain in these two regions? It´s something to think about...

  • Look, Spain is a country formed very long ago. It´s one of the oldest countries in the world and I don´t know any moment in history in which the Vasque territories were independent. They share common history with the whole country. Spain has several languages and cultures, but I don´t see the problem there. By the way, a culture is not only a language. Oh, and I know many people from Navarre wouldn´t like what you show here, actually the majority of them.

  • Wrong!!! You have no idea! The basque were independent. In the past, every new spanish king, who was going to be crowned, has to swear front of the Guernika Tree that they will let the independance to the Basque people.

The basque and the catalan language are recognized world wide. The other ones that you mean are dialects!

The people from Navarre, that you mean might live there but I'm sure that they or their parents were born in some spanish province.

  • In the last autonomic elections in Navarre UPN and PSN-PSOE got 65% of the votes (Na-Bai got 23%). What do you mean when you speak about people´s parents? So if I have some vasque ancestors, does that mean I´m vasque? A lot of people in Euskadi have ancestors from the rest of Spain just as much as many people from the rest of the coutry have ancestors from Euskadi. By the way, Navarre was a kingdom for many centuries, Euskadi not.

  • If a king was to do that is just because it wasn´t worth the trouble to be fighting against vasques since they were controlled and settled. The Iberian peninsula was invaded by many peoples, but the spanish were not the ones that did, since that region has been Spain since it was founded. Before that, the peninsula had many kingdoms that eventually started to join until they became Spain.

  • What makes you special from the rest of the spaniards? The fact that you kept the language and customs is something to praise but not something to use as an argument of independence. And as I said they are always respected in the whole country.

  • Tell the Galaecians that their language is a dialect.

  • Of course, and yours, the castilian is too, are dialects of the latin wich is a real language. All the romances are dialects and very easy to understand all of it.

Euskadi was and it is part of navarre kingdome like french basque country is, our kingdom, not castilian one. All te navarres were basques. Originaly named vascones from the romans.

  • The Vasque nationalism didn´t appear until XIX century.

  • My heritage and pride! I am so glad you posted this! THank you.

  • im basque

  • Freedom to Cornwall!!!

  • it's all part of the EU, so what's the point?

  • Because lot of people in Spain and spanish goverment ridicule our languaje, euskera. Spain is only the spanish nation because the people in Spain support this idea and the other languajes and natinalities doesn`t fit in Spain.

  • why basque state want to seperate from spain? can anyone tell me please.

  • because they have a dif. language dif culture and plus they were invaded by spaniards looong ago.

  • liar

  • Invaded?

Could you provide a precise date for this "invasion", dimwit?

  • Proclaim your independence from Spain and France! XD

  • love from your Eastern Iberian brothers, form the Georgians.. <3 )) this Abkhazs are also our Ibero-Caucaisan brothers, but they are brainwashed by Russian imperial historians and theorists...

  • this video is so OLD!

  • No word about the half of the basques who live in fear because of basque nationalist radicals? If you come to live to the basque country you'd better be a basque nationalist or just shut up, otherwise you'll find yourself living with a bodyguard 24/7. Don't believe it? Come visit us.

  • WoW that vidio is so old i ,it must be 10 years old!

  • the oldest inhabitants of the old continent of Europe. The real Europeans

  • freedom for the Basque country!

  • Wish we had seen more of the Euskara Ska band

  • I believe in the Basque Nation!

  • your abkhazian brothers misses and loves u...
