  • One of Boston's best bands!!!!

  • @wingnutrvg1 Indeed!!! :D

  • @wingnutrvg1 For Sure! One of MANY!

  • @wingnutrvg1 One of the best bands, period.

  • @TheGuerrillaPoet and this was their best release ever

  • Incredible. Listening to this track on repeat, amazing.

  • wow... such a good fucking song

  • a punk band without a mohawk it does exist. very oi

  • I went to school for 8 years with the lead singer, Mike, at St Williams (St Willies). I had Sister Robard and Miss Coughlin as teachers. Mike was /is a great guy.

  • Yes they do and the singer sined my boob!! :D last friday when they wher in penhagen :D

  • saw em at groez, AWESOME DUDE!

  • Real punk rock!

    Nice music and post!

  • GROEZROCK!

  • Street dogs at groezrock belgium after they cancelled show

i'm glad they made it good again!!!

  • I saw this band 5 years ago at Groezrock when I was 15, they played this very song. I recognised it from a demo-CD and I went into the tent to chek it out and damn it was awesome :). Definitely going to chek them out again this year at Groezrock!

  • Great Band! :)

  • 1:55 and on, so good.

  • Saw them with Sick Of It All and had never heard of them at the time. I can't imagine my life without Street Dogs now!

  • "niezłe ciecie" :P but i like it!

  • derrrp.. This band sold out.. This band didn't.. This little band had roast beef, this little band had none... and this little band had a shit fanbase because they aren't happy to settle and talk about anything above comparisons, all tryin to seem like some in-the-know guy who can tell ya a thing or two from their birds eye view of the world. fuck off

  • awesome band!

  • This is a totally brilliant album, loads of great songs. My favourite has got to be "Fighter". The Dropkicks went crap after Mike left for sure. Al Bar was great in the Bruisers and I agree he should have went back to them long ago!

  • God this was such a good album from Mike and the Street Dogs. Mind you I thought he ruled when he started Dropkick, but this album was amazing and the newest one is in the Savin Hill vein. Anyone who says the songs are crap must like crappy sell out punk, man this is the working class songs with heart and soul. Like when Al was with The Bruisers, if any of you know The Bruisers.

Al go back to The Bruisers!

  • @oregonflatland the murphys would not exsist without the the greatness of this one man.

so lets get it straight, murphys = soul'd out

the music will never have the power that mike gave it, and if you think that al barr can even hold a candle to THE ORIGINAL then you my friend are sadly sadly mistaken.

the music on this and any other street dogs album holds more truth and power to the working mans struggle than any dkm album ever could minus do or die.

  • @beaker1978420

well i don't doubt it. i'm not really a big fan of either band. mike definitely has the working class roots but DKM definitely appeals to a much broader audience. it doesn't seem like a lot of bands are singing about the working class anymore. rancid did until they sold out and now they drive around in a fuckin mercedes with tila tequila. their last record was a steaming pile of shit.

  • A DKM and Street Dogs show would kick ass...

  • 2:35 = Win.

  • lookin forward seeing them in Belgium again

  • fuck fred perrys are cool

  • this song hits you over the head like a fuckin sledge hammer....oi oi oi!

  • and then it rapes you with its good gituar, rythem, and lyrics

  • i just found these guys under related videos from a bouncing souls video these guys are amazing.

  • Bouncing Souls are damn good. And so is this band! :D

  • @gwarfan1point5 Dude... me and my mrs on our 1 year anniversary with a bottle of champagne, a bag of pot and throwing ice cubes out of a hotel window at people walking by on the 8th floor :) Thats what we're doing listening to this!

  • the ramones legacy

  • i saw these guys open up for alkaline trio and the offspring, great show. the singer called the jonas brothers the jonas fuckers, good shit.

  • @mixxayy14 oh, man. i hate those assholes! it must have been awesome hearing that.

  • saw them with offspring in stl..bad ass show.

never heard of them before it and am a huge fan now.

the singer is a fucking nut!

  • Yeah the singers amazing. Not a lot of good solid Punk anymore

  • Of course, He was the original singer for Dropkick Murphy's

  • McKenna's anyone

  • This = win.

  • wow, fantastic!

  • I saw these guys last night and it was a kick ass show.

  • yeh! They rock live XD

  • was it at the offspring concert? if so that show was amazing!!!!

  • haha saw these guys in concert before off spring in dallas, they were alright, except when the guitarist with the black hair came down into the pit, people kinda reacted and started pushing up on my friends and i in the front row, we accidentally knocked him over when we pushed everyone behind us over =P

  • haha im goin to the offspring concert in phx there pplayin here to. never heard of them but i love offspring!

  • HAHA the only good song on the album?? "fighter" is better than any dkm song past or present!!

i would also add "last call" to blanktv's list, definitely one of my favourite street dogs songs

  • i agree fighter is an osm song but dkm rock too

  • I'm telling you, you're crazy. Leave it in your iPod or whatever and keep listening.

They'll all grow on you. For my money "Declaration" is the best song on thhe album, about Britney Spears getting the cover of Rolling Stone the week after Joe Strummer died.

And "Cut Down on the Twelfth" a song about Mike's girlfriend dumping him by phone on 9/12/01, as his fire crew was headed down to help out at the World Trade Center. sunset

    BlankTV

  • declaration is pretty good. it sounds exactly the same as an oi song from korean band rux that came out the same year. rux is a great band you should check out. way better oi songs than street dogs. except for this song. mike does write good lyrics. he is true working class with real experience not a fuckin rock star like rancid.

  • spears got the cover of rolling stones after strumemr died?man didnt know that thats kinda ironic

  • Fighter is amazing. All of that old shit is.

  • Comment removed

  • You have no idea what you're talking about.

That record has "Cut Down on the Twelfth"

    "Declaration"

    "Fighter"

    "Justifiable Fisticuffs"

    "Jakes"

"Borstal Breakdown" "Modern Day Labor Anthem" and "Stand Up"

Good lord, it's one of the best albums I own. It's a fucking classic.

    sunset

    BlankTV

  • @BlankTV

so true idk still think this is one of there better albums

  • what have you been smoking

    this record was FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!

  • i expected every song to be as good as savin hill and was severely let down.

  • Mike McColgan the lead singer, was the original lead signer of DKM'S he quit to become a fireman!

  • I live in Savin Hill

  • These guys are the best live.

  • these guys where the best I seen live since the rancid show I went to years ago or when I saw pennywise a few years ago

  • Dorchester, Boston muthafuckas!!!

  • OI OI OI!!!

  • these guys put on a good show

  • Savin Hill

  • song is imense =]

dropkick murpheys are awesome lol and so is liverpool btw (and hull city)

  • stab and kill

  • Not many people have the "right" to say they're from Savin Hill.

    It's quite an honor.

  • Indeed.

  • Dropkick what?

  • dropkick murphys duh biggest boston punk band...

  • adders that sad

  • no, Its just that Dropkick hasn't been the same since McColgan left. I love the Murphy's, but they severely lack the genuine emotion of Mike. The Murphys are still aces but their direction has become bit erratic. DO OR DIE

  • Oh alright your not some poser.

  • I love Mike's voice, but it does not show that much emotion. I mean if you see him live you can see the emotion, but otherwise I think your wrong. In alot of ways Al Barr's voice has alot more emotion, but thats just what I think.

  • Boston music rocks - but 26 in your face, go yanks - iI mean that in good fun, 2 best teams, thats baseball!!!! But rock on murphys, bosstones and darkbuster, NYC loves you guys!

  • yyyeeeaaahhh! street dogs tomorrow!!!

    BASEBALL IS FOR GIRLS!!!!

    YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!

    LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB!

    f@ck the nfl too..

  • Savin Hill!!! Boston Hardcore kicks ass!!! GO RED SOX!!!!!!!!!

  • yea savin hill
