  • Versatile. I like.

  • mmmm looks good.....more breakfast food please :)

  • oh, the title said ..."and pear" sorry just assumed u would show us that part?, I tried this recipe this morning I added cinnamon, nutmeg to my Quinoa & than I only had whole Cardamom so I used fine grater & tried 2 be scarce w/this spice as it can overpower. I added, dash maple syrup/Bonsoi, that was the BEST tasty, I also had hot water, fresh ginger but I added green tea prior, 1 hr l8R my NRG levels r soaring!!!

  • @glammacakes sorry, the pear I just chop up into bite-size pieces and put on top :) there's a photo with the recipe and directions on my site if you click the link under the video. That sounds like some amazing flavors you have going on there, I bet it was delicious :) And I'm glad to hear your energy did so well!

  • i am thinking of storing grains/flours in dark containers so the nutrients don't react with light

  • @werewasyo it doesn't hurt, but for grains and beans it's not really necessary. Flax and other nuts and seeds would be good in dark containers

  • Do you think coconut milk would work? I don't care much for porridge done with water...

  • @fdoeppen coconut milk would be really thick, unless you use the kind that comes in a carton now (I usually think of it as the very heavy fatty stuff in a can). It's also wonderful with almond or rice milk.

  • Do you drink coffee or tea?

  • @norxcontacts I love green & herbal teas, but just don't enjoy the taste of coffee or black tea... I think it's the tannins.

  • Great!

But how do you bake it??

  • @POLlyy23 just cook the grains first, then put into the oven :) or, you can cook them all the way in the oven, but it takes quite a while

  • can you make a video on your exercise routine and how often do you workout? :)

  • @princesaox I will certainly try to post about that some time :)

  • I see you use those auburn pots a lot and was wondering about the coating on the bottom of them. My mom has some just like that and they have a coating and I am weary of using it with it. Does yours have a coating on them? What are your thoughts?

  • @codybear4you Mine don't have any coating - they're glass. I'm not sure what kind of coating your mom's would have, but I'd steer clear of teflon or things like that. Ceramic coatings are fine, from what I hear.

  • @healthyvegan I'm not sure if it is a ceramic or teflon, thats why I am yet to use them. They are just like yours but with a black lining on the bottom of it so it makes me think that it may be teflon. For now I only use Stainless Steel.

  • I feel like I'm the only very young viewer of yours who cares about health lol o.o

  • @diANASOURRrr well, I'm so glad you do! :)

  • @diANASOURRrr oh yeah i'm only 8 years old what about you?

  • The next video will be the 300th :-)

  • I usually make something similar except instead of using buckwheat, I use oats. Is buckwheat better for you than oats? I try to avoid buckwheat because my blood type is B, and anything wheat, buckwheat or rye I have an intolerance towards. I use to love drinking chai tea lattes in the morning, but I am trying to be vegan for ethical reasons, and so I usually eat oatmeal or green smoothie in the morning.

  • @migustatu they both have their benefits. it's usually good to change things up for variety, but if you can't do buckwheat then try rice, quinoa, etc... try a latte with almond milk :)

  • I have a very similar porridge every morning, with quinoa. But OMG!, making it with chai tea is the coolest idea ever. I want to try that. Tomorrow morning for sure :)

  • @inberlinbythewall awesome :) hope you enjoy it!

  • Nice.

Need to get you some organic spices though :)

    take care.

  • @sathlin thanks :) they are organic, actually, I buy them in bulk and fill up a really old cinnamon jar
