I have the camp CPU, but soooo damn glad I got rid of MY 8800 GTX. THEY SUCK!!! My 1st EVGA 8800GTX lasted 7months exactly, then died. The 1st RMA replacement had a defective fan which wouldn't spin up,.. the 2nd RMA lasted another 7 months and also died. I told EVGA if they sent me another 8899GTX I would run it over with my car and mail them back the pieces. They sent me a upgrade i think it was a 260. I never used it. I bought a new XFX 9800 which is AWESOME! NO issues.

man today 3 ghz is concidered low end overclocking so update your overclocking ability try 3.6 is the midrange overcloking standards...here in extreme systems try our tutorial on how to overclock 4.2 on air running 48hrs stable....but by the way...good OC...

I als have a 1000w psu (ST1000w), but i would be fine with down to 700W atleast (want to keep some overhead).

400 seems quite tight for a nowadays setup though (thanks to the heavy requirements from gfx cards) doesnt it sometimes like not give power when you plug usb stuff in? (had that with an old setup with 450w psu, sometimes wouldnt have enough to power the usb port and rebooted.)

Wolfdale CPUs are great for overclocking. (The Q9400 is about $100 more, which is a deal breaker for me.)

GPU is better; noticeably better in SLI.

ya get a better cool then u can, i recomend the high end zalman cooolers, or if you want the best air cooling, one that can compeat with watter cooling get the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and put a nice 120mm fan on it. your cooler would get around 80c on 3.2ghz only (i looked up reviews) mine loads at 60c at 3.8ghz and thats a lot more voltage
