It's at least nice to hear the two women have stayed friends and that Agnetha would even consider doing a project with Frida. I had read that Agnetha's pretty much a recluse. The thing those 4 don't understand is that even getting together for just one song, something easy, like a ballad, at a significant event, would lift the world's spirits I think, plus could raise A LOT of money for a good cause. I respect their decision but sometimes I view it as selfish.

@gdwme I largely agree - I think I would be crying if I saw ABBA live,and I'm not even that much of a fan - I have a 'best of' and that's buried under a pile of CD's.

But unfortunately, if they did, it wouldn't sound the same as it did, or as we remember it. It hardly ever does when old bands that have been apart for years get back together.

We should not inflict such expectations on them. But still one can muse inwardly that any writing they do might be too deep & intense in theme, due to their collective experience. They might say what must be said, and it might cut too deeply to be endured by the world. Their last album was dark and serious - which impressed me.
