@coolkid1120 Cause the USDA makes no sense. You can get all sorts of imported animals at your local pet store, but not others. The argument is, that they can become an invasive species...how that's different from any other non-native animal, I don't know. BUT, we've gotten ourselves into so much trouble with snakes/lizzards/iguanas all over the south, I supposed it's for the best.

I assume you're feeding it some sort of brown sugar syrup concoction? I can't really tell. But if so, I've been told it's most effective to soak a thoroughly-washed (but new and not anti-bacterial) cellulose sponge in the syrup and put that in the terrarium for feeding.

I was doing that just to show the contact on camera. She wasn't too fond of it, so I didn't do it often :) I think she was just bothered by it, like a fly buzzing around her face.
