True, the GST and PST added on makes things more expensive, but the Canadian sellers should give some breaks as far as when they price their items.

I agree with your last statement, but not your first. Bush wanted an invasion of Iraq because he wanted control over Iraq's oil. That failed misrably. Today oil prices are much higher than before the war.

What do you define as America? People of the world define America as its people. The people who live in American have absolutely no control over the country.

When you say you won in Iraq, do you mean you beat the Iraqi people or the Iraqi government? If Iraq is the Iraqi government, than America is the American govrnment. I dislike this notion, a lot, because the American people deserve better than their government. They built a great country and their government is destroying it fast.

1. Norwar has the highest GDP per capita in the world.

2. Canada is the #1 exporter of oil to the US. If Canada disappeared you would be bitching like there is no tomorrow.

3. People of countries who usually don't get involved in conflicts are usually better off than countries that are "important". Think of it this way, North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, US, Russia, ... are important. Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, ... are not!!! Who is better off?

I think you will find Canada aided the British and French before the US did, and I have a very close relative who fought in Korea, Vietnam on the other hand: It is not the fault of the canadians, you americans decided to help out the french in one of their colonies, only to get sweet f-all from them in Iraq. It was the Canadians who held the flanks in Afghanistan, and they are paying the price per capita more than the US in young men and women.

besides, the EU can't even ratify a constitution. It's a weak political, and it's an economic union full of dissent. e.g. Germany has the most influence, and Italy is suffering. Britain is part of the EU, but its currency is still the British pound. And that is a strong sign of economic independence.
