I would lie if I said Springsteen's music is my favourite, I normally don't listen to his music because I never really got into contact with it, I'm 19, all I got was a song or two in music education or something, and normally this would be too slow, too soft of a song for my taste. However, it's an exception. It's all about exceptions for me. I don't listen to classical music too much, but I eventually do once in a while. Same goes for folk, techno, hip hop

@WOWayne325 There is a lot in that story WOW - its a great one. My dad was also a drinker & smoker and had a really negative attitude. It caused mom a lot of grief, but you'd never be able to tell, not even until the day she passed - she was the absolute greatest positive force in our lives. Dad wasn't a bad guy but on so many things he just didn't get it.

In life, at some point sooner or later, we can come to a realization or a peace - some people I think never have that. I'm glad you did.

That was an amazing story. It touched me even though we have very different stories. I can relate to getting a phone call that completely tore through me. One of my best friends committed suicide less then a year ago. He and I were to be married at one point. This song resonates through me when I think of him.
