Umm, not to be rude, but this isn't really a mash-up. It's just the words of Linkin Park put to the music of DC Talk. A mash up (from watching GLEE) is when both of the songs are put together to create a new song altogether. Such as taking the chorus from DC talk with the verses of Linkin Park. Sounds cool, but it's not really what i'd consider a mash-up. Great job though, sounds cool =]

I'm sorry, but mashups have been around way before Glee came around in it's present state. A mashup is the blending of two songs. Sometimes it's the lyrics of one to the tune of the other, sometimes the lyrics from both songs are featured. Other times, there may be a number of songs featured in one song. There's no set standard. Even wikipedia puts it as "blending two or more songs, usually by overlaying the vocal track of one song over the instrumental track of the other."

Everybody has there own idea of what a "mashup" is. As someone who has been professionally making these same types of remixes since the mid 90s I have my own idea of what a real mashup is.I would call this mix more a blend or bootleg. It's pretty straight forward. Two similar genres, pella over instro. If I had these on vinyl and mixed it live it would be a blend. A mashup would be more if you took LP's pella and slapped over a Beatles instro. Good remix.

Yes, sorry I had just been on a Star Wars binge, so I threw in a quote from that.

I listened to a lot of DC Talk as a kid growing up in a religious household and got into LP later so this mix resonates with me across a lot, using my favorite band from childhood, and one of my favorite from adulthood. You have mad skills, and I hope you continue sharing your gift with the world.
