When Benzema actually helps the team by doing more of the link up play instead of just scoring tap ins that Di Maria and Ozil put on a plate for him then i may reconsider my opinion. If you can find me 5 goals this season that weren't tap ins or an open goal i will admit i was wrong, but you can't. A truly great striker does more than score tap ins.

True, the role of a striker is to score goals however a good striker does that aswell as helping with link up play, scoring individual goals if the team mates aren't available and also can fill in at other areas of the pitch if required. Benzema does non of those, just scores tap ins and open goals that my grandmother could score.Also, Benzema scored more thanks to Ozil and Di Maria than Ronaldo.

You're trying to convince me that Benzema is good just because he scored 1 good goal all season? Congrats, even the worst players scores amazing goals, look at Figueroa's goal for Wigan last year. You have to know every player that play in Pre formation center of French team selection in France become the best. Henry went there, Nasri, Zidane, Hatem Ben arfa and many of great defenders i don't have time to speak about.

They are not just good, they are talented and learn very fast like Karim showed it already.

So Benzema was obliged to play but it will never justify the pressure he put on him cause a coach have to protect his player, even more when the player is criticised a lot by the medias. Benzema played good when he get support of his coach, he gained confidence and now scores. But Benzema's real support are Valadano and Perez.
