I have pondered this same thought. But i believe that the phrase I Am That I Am should have 3 periods as in 3 complete and whole thoughts. I Am. That. I Am. We might forget that we are outside looking onto a 2 way conversation. The thing "That." Moses was shown was most likely his original self.
Why only now decide to place a comma? its a flawed idea that some bloke has decided to make money out of, if there is no comma in the bible then there is no comma full stop......pardon the pun!

I don't think they actually mean there is a comma written somewhere. What they seem to be trying to say is that, this is the way it was meant to be heard by us. They are using our language as a tool to show us.

This is the missing "piece." I just wish I had known of this decades ago.
