  • Hello,

My hair is going trough a lot of heat damage lately.I straighten it every day with a flat iron which makes it very dry and rough to touch. I have a question about the Resistance line.

My hair is naturally very curly and to be able to straighten it perfectly I have to use the Oleo Relax line. But obviously this line is not nourishing enough to instantly repair the damage I cause every day.So my question is: Is the Resistance line taming enough so I could still straighten my hair.

  • hi,

i have thick, shoulder length hair...i always do rebonding around twice a year.....my hair seems damaged and dry, split ends....at the same time i like to keep volume and body to my hair....which kerastase product suitable for me?

    MINA

  • Hello Mina,

You should cleanse with Bain De Force and condition with Ciment Anti-Usure from the Resistance range to address the damage that you are experiencing. You can style with either Spray Volumactive or Mousse Volumactive to ensure maximum volume.

  • hi im a newbie and i want to try kerastase.i have a thick, frizzy and coarse hair.i also experience dandruff and split ends.i dont do styling much.what kind of kerastase products should i use? thank you very much

  • Bain de Force smells great but it leaves my hair full of knots at the end and I do try to rinse it extremely well out of my hair (as my salon advisor said) but this is very difficult because my hair is all full of knots. Is Bain de Force a treatement recommended for all type of hairs that have breakage problems of just some? My hair is curly, thin and dry because of the styling. I am using the shampoo, conditioner and ciment thermique from this line. Is it suitable?

  • Hello,

When shampooing and rinsing try to do so more gently and focus on the scalp using your fingertips. After applying the conditioner, Ciment Anti-Usure, use a wide toothed comb with the conditioner still in the hair. This should help with the detangling. Once all is rinsed and towel dried, if you are still experiencing tangling--you may want to try Nutridefense Spray before Ciment Thermique. It is a great detangler.

    Best,

    Kerastase

  • Hi, im trying to grow my hair. Its short just above my shoulders and dry/damaged. I dont use straightners that often either. What shampoo and conditioner should i be using from the kerastase range?

    Thanks, aimee. x

  • Hi Aimee,

For your hair the best range to use until it has grown out and you are no longer dealing with damage is the Resistance line. Cleanse with Bain de Force and condition with Ciment Anti-Usure.

  • thankyou! i ordered some online yesterday.

  • My hair is really frizzy, dry and thick. I heat style 1-2x a week. I really like Bain Satin 3 and Ciment Thermique, but I haven't been pleased with the Oleo-Relax line. What other products would you recommend for my hair?

  • Hi Lissa,

If you are using Bain Satin 3, you should use Nutridefense Masque for dry, sensitized hair. It needs to be applied to towel dried hair, massaged through to ends and left on for 5 minutes to achieve incredible shine, softness and anti-dryness protection.

  • Thanks. Which would be a better heat protectant for me? Ciment Thermique or Nectart Thermique? My hair is dry, frizzy, thick and coarse. I don't chemically treat it, but I do heat style once in a while.

  • Hi Lissa,

Both products have similiar heat protection qualities. Ciment Thermique also strengthens and Nectar Thermique also moisturizes. Since your hair is dry, you should use Nectar Thermique.

  • Hi Andres,

You would want to switch to Bain Gommage for Dry Hair and use Nectar Thermique before using heat styling tools. Bain Gommage will address the dandruff you are experiencing and Nectar Thermique nourishes, softens and moisturizes hair. It improves hair straightening and drying performance.

  • Hi KerastaseUSA!

My name is Andres, and I have medium lenght straight hair with flippy ends. I straighten my hair ussualy twice a week, and I use your Nutrivive line Bain Satin. I noticed that I've been gettin Dandruff and that my ends are dry. Can I combine the Bain Gommage with the Bain Oleo Relax? What do I have to use? Thanks.

  • one question, i saw in one of your videos that the stylist applied the shampoo and the masque on wet hair and then rinsed it but not on the shower is that meant to be like that, you are not supposed to rinse it all from hair?

  • Hi,

You are supposed to rinse the masque completely from your hair.

  • hi i have very dry damaged colored hair.they also fall out a lot.what specific kerastase products should i use? i also blow dry my hair very often. thanks

  • Hi,

If you are suffering from breakage you will want to use the Resistance range of products. Shampoo with Bain de Force and condition with Ciment Anti-Usure. Before heat styling apply Ciment Thermique to protect hair. Forcintense is a 3day intense treatment to use, also.

If you are suffering from hair loss, not breakage, then you want to use Bain Densitive GL to shampoo with and Lotion Densitive GL before styling. Also, take the Densitive Nutrients to encourage thicker and denser hair.

  • My hair has been through a permanent straightening and, because of this, I started having a hard time with hair loss. I also use the flat iron and blow dryer frequently but I have very fine brittle hair, which breaks a lot, and I wanted to know which kerastase product would work better for me, in order to stop hair loss and to strengthen my hair. Thanks.

  • im using bain satin 1 ,my hair is in pretty good shape, but it seems even better after starting to use kerastase, i love it my favorite shampoo !

  • Does Kerastase also work on chemically relaxed african american/black hair?

My hair is chemically relaxed and naturally very dry and brittle. Which line, in the US, is available to me?

  • Hi Tuffcookie5,

We currently have the Oleo-Relax line that addresses the needs of type 3 to type 4 hair. This summer we will be introducing a new line that addresses the needs of types 4 and 5.

  • hi...i just want to ask if you could give me some advice regarding my hair...i usually have bad hair days and i have thick hair..i can't control my hair sometimes ended up tying them but i think having a ponytail is too plain, can you suggest other alternatives to fix my hair and not ending up having a boring look? thanks..:)

  • i have very curly and thick hair, i staiten my hair practicly almost everyday, im afriad that im damaging it,which styling product would help me have straiter hair and not damage it? thnx

  • I have hairloss and I am using the bain prevention. The hairdresser also recommended me to use bain age recharge in the resistance range to reactivate cellular exchange on my scalp. Which is better to use in combo the bain age recharge or resistance for weakened hair?

    thanks

  • Hi skavyu26,

The Bain prevention is in the Spécifique range for the European market. It is not a sku we offer in the US. Because of that I can only speak to the Age Recharge range and that Bain Age Recharge, Masque Age Recharge and Lipo Recharge aid in promoting a healthy scalp. Having said that, it is topical and we can not claim that it grows hair. Bain Age Recharge is the better of the two in promoting a healthy scalp.

  • i'm a guy that has never colored my hair, but i do blow dry it every few days. would i benefit from any of these products or is my hair healthy enough?

  • Mresima,

You would be better suited with Bain Satin 1 and Lait Vital as a conditioner. You do not need Resistance because the hair is not damaged or breaking.

  • thanks. i just got some of the shampoo. do i need anything anything else for blow drying, or heat styling?

  • Mreisma,

Ciment Thermique is a fantastic blow dry product which protects the hair from heat at the same time it is heat activated.

  • oh, my hair is super thick. does it matter which Bain Satin i get?

  • Mreisma,

The thickness is not how to determine the Bain Satin. Do you feel your hair is slightly dry, moderately dry or very dry. This will determine which Bain Satin will be best for you.
