As a UK fan I apologise for the quality of the British commentators - all we get is WWE crammed down the networks, TNA for those with a strong stomach for BS and local 'promotions' who make Memphis wrestling look like world series of wrestling by comparison!
Mr SD, any chance of you using your wealth of knowledge to tell me more about the cb4? The first person I saw using it was Jigsaw in CHIKARA, but I'm obviously not as big of a Puroresu fan as yourself, was he the originator or were there others using it regularly first?
which means absolutely nothing as she's classified everywhere else as Croatian. would Bret Hart working in the U.S. make him American? Obviously.. Not!
The Death Valley Bomb is what you see here. The name DVD is a mistranslation of the name of the move, and in Japan, it refers to a Fireman's Carry Fire Thunder.
Actually she wrestles more in Germany (where she lives). The only time she has ever worked the UK was when I brought her over for ChickFight weekends and I believe one other time when she came over for WAW. GWF is her home promotion in Germany and she has also competed for GSW too as well as Rings of Europe (In Switzerland I believe) and numerours other countries promotions throughout Europe, but as I said German Wrestling Federation is her home promotion.
Actually in the UK (and I believe European) it is called a Sit-Out-Tiger Bomb (I have ZERO KNOWLEDGE of games!) with the term Tiger Driver used for a double-underhook-into-piledriver. It has also been called a butterfly powerbomb (as the double underhook used to be called a butterfly hold).
There are severel moves and holds that have slightly different names or variations for the names over here. And as I'm based here and the show was here - I choose to use our terminology.
I live in UK too :P Butterfly Powerbomb, didn't know that was still used. But thanks for that explination, It's just that from what i've read, heard, seen, etc I've always been told that the correct terminology was tiger driver, and a Double Underhook Piledriver being a Tiger Piledriver.

The move dates back to 2000, at the least. EZ Money was the first person I saw use it.

Oh!? I never even knew that, and i consider myself an ECW fan...
I know i have a couple matches with EZ alongside Chris Hamrick and Julio Dinero stashed on DVD somewhere. Thanks man!

"Wesna is one of the U.K's top female talents"
Wesna is from Croatia and lives in Germany.
yourheroxyz 2 years ago 2
I understand that. However, most of her work when this was made was in the U.K.
TheSuicidalDragon 2 years ago
which means absolutely nothing as she's classified everywhere else as Croatian. would Bret Hart working in the U.S. make him American? Obviously.. Not!
Aznar245 2 years ago
And I never said Wesna was British. I said she's one of the U.K.'s top female talents, meaning the greater portion of her work is based in the U.K.
TheSuicidalDragon 2 years ago
I would have deemed her "worlds top talents" instead of limiting her to UK

I should have been more specific in that she bases herself in the UK wrestling wise.

Would that CB$ Driver would be consider a inverted Wheelbarrow Driver?
gig0n5 2 years ago
I'd say is more of a belly to back piledriver but with the legs trapped

How do you get your opponent in position for the CB4 Driver?
ShamanOfWrestling 2 years ago
It's usually set up by lifting the victim from a standing position.

Holy shit. That CB4 Driver on the apron was brutal...

Because a lot of announcers incorrectly refer to the Tiger Driver as a Tiger Bomb.

just because a commentator says it doesnt mean its true.. mike adamle called a kick to a knee a chop ... lol

Wesna vs. Melissa was Epic (America's best female talent (in my opinion) vs. Europe's best female talent) can't go wrong with that.
RoderickStrong 2 years ago
I haven't seen their recent encounters quite yet, the the two from ChickFight VIII and IX kicked all sorts of ass.
