Royal Marine Commandos are also on par with Force Recon, though they have alot more operational experience.

Black Hawks are versatile Heli's and capable of serious collateral damage most of the men who fly them are Nightstalkers USAF SpecOps the best damn pilots we have like the men who flew them in somalia where Nightstalkers but it wasnt the BlackHawks fault they were outnumbered a 100 to 1 even if somalies shot like shyt (which they did) it didnt matter if you have 30-50 guys shooting at you at once it dont make a difference your gonna get hit.

When I was in SF we cross trained with Jarheads(Marines), Foreigners and Air Force guys. Any western branch of miltary who wants to send their guys through SF school can do so if they make arrangements. If you really want to do this job make sure your MOS is a hard one like radio operator, small weapons, light weapons or medic, otherwise forget getting in. Approaching a reserve unit and try to go in that way is easier as regular leg army has no slots. Be prepared to be chewed you up spit out!

Delta DOESNT pick favorites SFOD Delta is the best we have in all the military PERIOD. Simply put if you have 100 from each Spec Ops and Special Forces divisions Navy Seals, Rangers, Green Berets, Force Recon in total 20 15 might be picked their requirements are extremely demanding as are their missions and they only want the most intelligent and battled hardened men in ALL the United States Armed Forces.

@Leppardazn Well SAS was the first to have established a HIGHLY trained UW and Counter terrorism Unit (lets not forget where Army Rangers were born besides the flawless tactics of Roger and His Rangers) and in 1977 Colonel Charles Beckwith was inspired by the SAS and decided to establish 1st SFOD so the brits are entitled to their cockiness in a sense but whos better I cant tell you that all I can tell you is they dont wanna find out.

I've had plenty of brits tell me that americans are less educated than the western world and that the US military body count in Iraq is higher than the UK military body count. The UK statisticly are more educated than us, the body count in iraq is higher in US because its OUR fight and we are their target they hate us because we believe in freedom for all. If you want facts from both sides your not going to get them youll get the ole "MY DICKS BIGGER THAN YOURS" story but Delta force is the best (in my opinion) their is. Somalia was a sad story. Dont get mad if it wasnt for UK their woudlnt be Rangers or Delta thats all the credit theyll get.

It's more than just the physical training that counts, you have to apply seal/sf discipline in your daily life. The way you handle things and how you get the job done as well as stress determines your willingness. It has to be on your mind constantly. That's the way it is with me, as I am ever so passionate to go Green Beret. Don't stop training!

Hardest part of BUDS is the physical end of it. Be in shape and keep your head straight you will do fine. No I am not a SEAL but I did some BUDS prep courses some ex SEALS run(there are vids on youtube BUD131 is the username on here).

My uncle is retired SEAL. Tough stuff but they have the easiest requirements to try out. Good luck and stay safe.
