  • i like you.

  • to the literalists - I propose that it is a Synaesthesia of sorts - a mix of the senses - vision the submodalities or colour, movement, corporeal, tactility, audial, music - and a taste for art... and coolness! I refer the clinicians to the works of the young Rimbaud at least? I smell the rigidity of "squares" :)))))

  • This subject is truly phenomenal. It is so very interesting to learn about it, too.

  • dancing to the music DOESN'T have to do anything with synaesthesia!!!

  • @Kraehenauge : I know, I've already answered that further up on the thread - but it's always good to know there are vigilant people like you out there Kraehenauge..

  • my stomach started feeling sickish, then A whole bunch of green and G's hit me

  • I know what the solution to 2+2 feels like. and it isn't as fishy as I hoped.

  • are you RTF or art?

  • @blondiebmxgrl - I'm not sure, what's RTF?

  • nice 1 peice swimsuit

  • Wonderful, thank you! To me it's also a splendid celebration of healthy physicality and exercise (in contrast to our marvellous modern virtuality experiences, which it also is at the same time!) For personal use, I spent half an hour taking clips of it to create a collage for the fitness pages in my personal PowerPoint general motivational slide show, which I will view many times a week. Thanks again, 'such fun. Regards, Bruce Thomson in New Zealand.

  • i can feel the got session.......... oh wait thats my sunburn

  • is that capoeira at the beginning?

  • посмотрел с удовольствием!!!!!!! и музыка и клип отличные! да здраствует жизнь !

  • Very dynamic piece!

  • I love this...

  • Synesthesia is not rhythmic dancing. It is a gift of mixing up your senses to be able to see what you hear, taste what you see, or feel what you smell.

  • The phenomenon can also manifest itself, in some cases, by causing the individual to translate sound into imagery which is basically what the job of a music video director is. So in that sense the title is more in reference to the edit rather than the content. You're right though, I drifted way off topic and really only kept the title because I liked the word. And besides - I was at art school at the time so vague, pretentious, out of context titles where almost the order of the day...

  • I've never posted a comment on a vid, but this one made me. Brilliant!

  • Awesome vid :) - lol - makes me think of my everyday life... - i hear a beat or rhythm in everything that i do... Guess I'm just weird like that :-/ - from walking to talking to eating to putting on clothes to typing this comment! -

    AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! STOP THE MUSIC!!! - lol - j/k :-)

  • great video

  • Awesome vid...just one question...who did the music? It reminds me of a group called X-Legged Sally.

  • it's a US group called 'the herbaliser' - they rock ..

  • funkyedit!

  • great vid =]evrythinq about it is awesome i wish i could do all those stunts especially what the first guy does thats amazing!

  • Nice editing.

  • ta:)

  • balls bouncing on ones head ftw

  • what does ftw stand for?

  • "For the win"

  • thought this was the cover from Nirvana album...

  • I love the video a lot but I don't understand the title. What exactly has the video to do with synesthesia?

  • I actually wrote a 25 page thesis justifying just that for art-school - I won't bore you with my aesthetic and philisophical arguments. Instead I'll agree with you and say in hindsite it has very little to do with it. I was just obsessed with the word and concept at the time ..

  • This is awesome. I'm also really interested in rhythm and dance and the synesthesia of it all. Did you research synesthesia, or is that just the name of the video?

    Love the capoeirista especially!

  • Yes, Coi (the artist) is one of the most physically talented people I have ever worked with. Amazing command of his body. It was great fun to film and cut -

the 'title' question is answered below ..

  • this is very well done...=)...5 stars, 2 thumbs up and 1000 points all to whoever made this vid...

  • that's the nicest comment anyone has ever left me, aarjor123:)

  • hey...no problem at all....I know good vid's when....rephrasal; I know awesome vid's when I see em'....

  • very cool!

  • How long did it take you to make it? You know what you should do with it now? Make it even shorter and make it into a really cool kind of commercial thing. I have no clue what that'd be advertising... maybe something like a "Be Active" kinda thing. It'd be way cool to see that on TV.

Well, I guess I must assume you are very talented at editing. I see you have 14 more videos; I go watch.

  • Thanks fella,

It was my Honours Project at Uni (Fine Arts). Took a year to film (was much longer and larger as an installation).

Yeah, I'd love to see it on TV too - but would have no idea how to accomplish that or even in what capacity. I think it's better just as a little piece of art ... hope you like the rest of the vids:)

    K

  • great i really liked it

  • WHOAaa men alucinante

  • Wow this is awesome.

  • thanks, mate.

  • the beginning looks a bit like capoeira ^^

  • yeah, the blokes name is Coi - he's from Brasil, awesomely talented ... (that cement was like a hotplate too, and he did the whole routine barefoot).

  • The whole version, with popcorn.

  • That was awesome. Great job making it! That would be cool to see the whole version
