@cjmyers505 - You couldn't be anymore wrong! To clarify, the TX line are designed in Italy, engineered in Pforzheim, Germany and assembled in the Philippines. On a side note, Marc Eco, Nautica, Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo and Valentino Timeless watchs are all under the same roof now as they were purchased by Timex Group USA. Also, Timex's parent company, Sequel AG, is operated in Zug, Switzerland where they design, manufacture and distribute the Guess? and the Swiss-Made Gc watch brands. :)
Hello, got a small question about the watch, does the “weekly calendar” always show correct dates, for example next week it should say: Mon 28th Tue 1st wed 2nd…etc. Thanks in advance!
Just found out from the distributor shop in Dallas that this is a TIMEX with a Chinese movement !!!!
Don't fake it say what you are. ( A German designed Timex made in China). The Chinese make some very good watch copies of Swiss movements. It is generally a very nice watch with great value. However they went to some effort to hide the facts (Go to the official Web site), and for that I would not purchase the watch.
That's too bad that it spoils it for ya. The only thing that really kept me away was the higher pricing...but they have started to level off a bit. That said; they are getting great reviews It's Timex branching out and trying new things and I can't fault them for that...To me it would be like down grading Breguet because Swatch owns them [thats just my opinion though]
Please don't take my opinion as a condemnation, I only wish the company the best. However the only thing that made me hesitate was the retail store tried to hide the fact that the watch is manufactured by Timex. I would recommend looking at the Tissot and Invicta lines. Both are very affordable and innovative ($180 to$ 700).
