  • I have it on good authority that Peter Cushing lives in Whitstable.

  • So simple so Brill!

  • Peter Cushing was a class act. I have all his Hammer Films. Speaking of Hammer Films, yesterday I went to see the new film Hugo, and guess who showed up? Christopher Lee! My goodness, Chris Lee just keeps going and going. He still has that phenomenal voice.

  • It might just be the makeup job, but it looks like Peter Cushing aged quite a bit in the 3 years between this and Star Wars.

  • I think that Peter Cushing looks like Frollo a little

  • lol

  • I remember Peter being on Jim'll Fix It when Jim fixed it for him to have a rose named after his wife.

Not a dry eye in the house

  • Peter Cushing, what a class act. And he could do comedy as well it seems. There will never be another one like him. Thanks very much for posting this, I always wanted to see this skit.:-)

  • what a delight, i have all the hammer films with Peter Cushing in, i love them, i am addicted to hammer horror, its my guilty pleasure lol lol

  • I love his delivery of "I have never been paid!"

  • I bloody love Peter.

The epitome of the English gentlemen.

Shame the youth does not know of him today...

  • A gentleman of the old school, there'll never be another like him !

  • @leveller661 Couldn't agree more.

The way he speaks is gorgeous.

  • Cushing and Lee the greatest movie duo of all time.

  • classic!

  • Peter Cushing and Eric Morcambe..! Gold!!

  • Peter Cushing and Eric Morcambe...on the same programme! Sweet! TV Gold.

  • @92af His first scene in the first of his two Dr Who films demonstrated impeccable comic timing. Otherwise it's a shame that his skittish take on Dr Who was an all-time career nadir because he had all the potential to make an intense, authoritative anti-heroic Time Lord in the mould of William Hartnell in his earliest episodes, but with a hint of Baron Frankenstein and Van Helsing thrown in.

  • Peccato non ci sia una traduzione in Italiano.

  • Better pay him before Christopher Lee comes out.

  • Peter Cushing was totaly better than Cary Grant was

  • general tarquin!

  • @atticusboyx Grand Moff, actually. lol.

  • was really funny when all these famous people turned up cos they hadn't been paid hehe:)

  • Peter looks tall there, whereas in the Hammer films he was always dwarfed by Christopher Lee!

  • Peter Cushing was a great actor

  • @92af Last of the Gentleman actors.

  • He is very good !!

  • the trick is brilliant :D
