Truly a wonderful DVD for any aspiring backyard astronomer. As a recommendation, be sure to watch Tim's other DVD, "Life Beyond Earth", which was featured as a two-part series on PBS many years ago.
Tim's incredible knowledge and dazzling charm makes this one of the best videos dealing with mankind's birth on planet Earth, as well as our hopeful communications with distant forms of intelligent life within the universe.

Timothy Ferris is great. Get this book too. You'll appreciate his perspective and the referances in the book. I've loved all of Timothy's books from wayyy back. He is a very interesting and brlliant man. One of my life's best discoveries.
