You're right - the whole 'religion causes every war' gambit is just getting old. There are plenty of other ways that people have and will justify wars. I always think that there are far more intelligent arguments as to why human kind will be better off when religion starts to disappear (in the hopefully not to distant future). Its already starting to happen in Europe and Im sure that soon the intellectual/philosophical enlightenment will spread to the rest of the west.
