I wish the Ferrari actually sounded like that, I love the 550 and the 575M, I would have sold 2 of my cars to buy one but the sound you hear is of the F355 and it's enhanced, the V12 doesn't sound like that. I didn't know this until driving a friends' and while it sounds nice it just wasn't aggressive enough, granted his exhaust was stock but the sound in the video with the car's looks are just PERFECT. The interior though could be better, alot better, the 599 is better on the inside.

The taxi at 2:09 is rather old. Most major cities have regulations that stipulate how old a taxi can be. I assume Miami falls into this category. Regulations aside, a taxi in Miami would probably not last as long as this one as there are many tourists. Wouldn't the producers have enough money to use a newer taxi rather than one that was (at the time) at least 10 years old? I suppose this is something I have to take for granted, like Buicks that turn into Pontiacs.

Shooting these kinda scene is not as easy as u guys think, shooting these scenes takes months. so no director pays attention to these minute errors. What matters most is the scene is good, so njoi, But Michael Bay is sick, This is one of the best car chase scene i have seen..

@puchoo - For me the last good Michael Bay movie was The Rock. I like ridiculous mindless movies with less dialogue and more action, but there is a certain convincing art that goes into crafting them. :-)

This chase has a good concept on paper, but it could have been so much better.

@puchoo - Lots of action movies have errors, and lots of times the errors are not as easily identifiable and as crazy as in this chase.

The action has to be foolproof enough in order for the mind to get suckered in. If the errors are way too bad, the mind can loose the connection with the movie.

The Matrix bullet time scene has errors too. But they are rather subtle and even if you identify them, it does not distract you getting sucked into the coolness of the scene.

there there for the explosions, driving and shooting not for a detailed chase.

this chase is what the call mindless entertainment.

meaning people are to busy witht he overall picture to even contemplate or even try to think of the little details like that.

I like ridiculous unscientific entertainment with enough foolproof factor to the scenes to have my head convinced of something. But this chase is just a sloppy editing and filmwork. Its like a customer gets fries that are not fried well enough. How can you have fun?

I want to like this chase, but the inconsistencies are too visible for me to ignore them. Its just badly put together.
