Slipknot is one of the most creative and music talented bands recently they have 9 members that work in pretty much perfect harmony. You should watch some Corey Taylor interviews he is a genius in creativity. Your commercial success= music talent and creativity is bullshit. So a band that has no talent or creativity that started in Iowa of all places not even a major music area was could be as amazingly successful as they are?

9 Members : Seriously, are 2 drummers and 1 percussionist really necesary in most of their songs? And 1 sampler + 1 DJ ?
Maybe he's a genius in creativity, still I insist that I like some of their songs, but not a huge fan or "maggot" [which is already a weird need abotu feeling accepted in a community?) of Slipknot.

Yes on your 9 person point it does make a difference and especially to people that play an instrument like me. I play the drums so i can hear clearly the differences that you may not notice but still hear which add awesomely to their music. if you took them out you would be able to tell the difference i could give you examples of....
parts they play in songs that are more noticeable in some songs than others like the percussions. The begining of Skin Ticket they make the percussion more defined but its still there in others songs and Pulse of the Maggots is a good sampler/media one. I feel no need to be in a communty but it still is nice to know that you are in one. Its just that slipknot gave a title to it "maggot". even though that may not be a good thing to you it has a completely different meaning to me and others likeme
