Most muslim women avoid so much makeup... but its realllyyy hard when you live in the west to try to "fit in" but at the same time stick to your beliefs of trying to be modest for your own self respect and not to be objectified sexually. Hmm, you're kind of right. Most muslim women avoid so much makeup... but its realllyyy hard when you live in the west to try to "fit in" but at the same time stick to your beliefs of trying to be modest for your own self respect and not to be objectified sexually. Occasionally, younger muslims trying to appease society(or probably in her case, her parents)still wear lots of makeup to adjust to this principle. But in the end, they are still more modest & + intention is what counts.

The need for a woman to cover, In Islam, shows nothing more than that fact that Muhammad was terrified of women and the power that we naturally posess over men with our sexuality. Islam even goes as far as to make women fear men and their natural desires. This is a very disturbing portion of the theology.
