This is lovely!!!! I don't know of many kids who care about our country! What a wonderful tribute! My great-grandfather fought (and survived!) Guadalcanal - those men were amazing!

Let us and future generations hope we never see a war on this scale, or that of ww1 again... far too many innocent people caught in the crossfire paid a dreadful toll. Most Friday nights they still air documentaries of what Hitler engineered so we need to be forever vigilant such evil men never gain control again. Take care to you both - manfread, xoxo

This is nice. You did a great job on this. My dad would have loved it. He fought in five major battles in WWII, and got shrapnel in his eye, but he came home. So many didn't, and it's so sad. Thank you for posting this. It brought tears to my eyes. *****.

@belovia50 Thank you very much. I am 15 and love older people and hearing about their war experiances. My Grandfather was certainly full of them....I enjoyed making this immensely!

@ebfan41 Thank you very much Miss Mary. It took me 7 trys to make this video because of problems with Windows Movie Maker, but it paid off. I put many photos of my Grandfather in there, and one of my Mother's uncle. If you would like me to tell you where they are, just let me know. When I found the photo at 4:26, it almost made me cry. You can almost feel her emotion.....so sad. I hope her husband/boyfriend/family member came back home.....
