  • I spent many happy evenings at the Sportatorium in Dallas during the 1970s and 80s and always looked forward to having Gary Hart as part of the program. An amazingly talented professional. Some of the best interviews ever with Bill Mercer. The WCCW history DVD showed the kind and caring man that he was. We miss you, Gary. God rest your soul.

  • as I said awhile back when I first saw this, excellent video, excellent music it is fitting.

  • Great tribute to a Man I did not get to see until the late 80s because my town did not have Cable put in until that year of 1988. I also do not see nothing wrong with the Song!! It is about remmebering ,so great Post!

  • RIP. A great mind..very smart and talented

  • oh really? well you give me idea. if talking is what you want. then talking you will get from the late great playboy gary hart.

  • Holy Crap! How can you make a "Tribute" to one of the best talkers in the industry and not have him talk? What the hell was that song? I sure hope you're a woman, because if you're not, you oughta be!

  • Gary was one of the all-time greats. this song is not. RIP Gary

  • You can replace a body in wrestling but what will be truly missed is his mind. rip mr.hart

  • Gary Hart was the man, this song is shit.

  • This is probably gonna sound silly but I thought Gary Hart was a Black guy. (I remember him saying it for some reason but then I have a Denny Crane thing going on lol. He was a great manager and from what I hear a very nice person. God Bless him He was the one that said that Dusty Rhoads is a white guy acting like a black guy acting like a white guy lol. I'll miss him.

  • i kind of thought he was a black guy too. I would be curious to hear what his ethnic background was.

  • I don'i know his ethnic background, his last name was really Williams. I do know that he grew up in a very tough neighborhood in Chicago, and had to deal with the brothas on a daily basis. That may be why he sounds black

  • really good video!

    RIP Gary!

  • RIP Mr. Hart you were always a fountain of information about the greatest sport in the world. I always respected you.

  • What?!! I just found out today 06 Nov. 2008!!

    RIP Mr. Hart.

  • gary was great rest in peace man.

  • howe come his death aint out there.. u kno.. on TV news n on wikipedia??? i dont get it

  • 3-16-08, heart attack

  • Excellent video and song, brougt back so many memories of Gary. Thanks for doing it.

  • a true gentlemen, remember his days in Pittsburgh on WIIC Studio Wrestling in the early 70's

  • Gary was at true legend in Texas! Amazingly, no mention of his death on the local news here in Dallas. Heck, they even mentioned Adrian Adonis' death here even though he never wrestled for World Class! I have lost all respect for local news because I just learned of Gary's death tonight, 6/28/08.

  • RIP great guy

  • sorry son if you think that song is horrible and gay then you seriously need to look at yourself a helluva lot deeper inside than you have. and slowly too.

  • Why do people always add horrible gay songs to tribute videos?

  • Gary Hart's Army TERRORIZED Florida in the early and mid-1970s, with awesome heels such as the Mongolian Stomper, Pak Song, Professor Tanaka, Bobby Duncum, Dick Murdoch and Bob Roop. He was also part of the one of the greatest turns in wrestling history, the night DUSTY RHODES switched from heel to babyface while paired by Hart with Pak Song against Mike and Eddie Graham. Hart also survived the 1975 plane crash that claimed the life of wrestler Bobby Shane. RIP Gary Hart.

  • your welcome shuggy1973. gary will be greatly missed. and yeah gary's comments in heroes of world class was one of the many things that made that dvd so great. and one of the reasons way it is still the best world class documentary films out thee to this very day. i'd just wish i could have put more in the video. clad you liked it.

  • Thanks divalover159 for a very touching video. This and the Michael Hayes on Gary Hart downloads are a fitting tribute to a spectacular, but (in my opinon) underrated manager.

Gary Hart's comments in the Heroes of World Class Wrestling DVD prove what an astute and intelligent man he was.

  • We definately will. Was a huge part of several NWA territories.

  • Yep he sure was! Marrystarstruck, I wonder what got you into wrestling? I got into it mainly for the music that they use. I will remember Gary Hart for his comments on the WWE Tryomph and Tragedy of WCCW DVD. That DVD is a good one. Do you have any reccomendations? Why this song? Did they not have his original theme song or something? I think that they should have used his original theme for this tribute. I'm not complaining though. This song is fitting in a way.

  • I spent the day with Gary Hart once when he was working for WCW around 1998. I was working for a radio station in Charlotte and we were were doing a promotion where we brought in different WCW stars as part of opening the new Charlotte Coliseum. I was familiar with wrestling so they had me pick Gary up from the Airport and escort him around for day. I was surprised how kind and considerate he was and didn't have a problem sharing stories all day long. A very kind man, God Bless!

  • How awesome it must have been to spend the day with one of the greatest wrestling managers of all time. gary hart was simply awesome, and this fan (me) only got to see him on camera as a heel manager. Thanks for posting this video.

  • I was extremely saddened to hear of Gary Hart's passing. We have lost one of the all-time greats.

  • this video is great. Gary Hart was a true genius of this buisness and we all have been entertained by him . I agree with tnarhofan gary could hpnotize you with his stories. rip gary ..and say hi to gino!!

  • Another great mind lost :(

  • I will always have a fond memories of Gary Hart and WCCW from my childhood. I remember meeting Gary once and being intimidated because he was such a larger than life figure of my childhood. He dispelled that intimidation in about 5 seconds with his friendliness. I could sit and listen to Gary Hart tell wrestling stories for days forever. R.I.P. Never Forgotten.

  • another chapter of WCCW in Heaven

  • Gonna miss you "my boy".
