  • @themachman19691 no shit , sherlock!.... you are only reinforcing my point!.... i.e. where do those bernie taupin/elton john songs appear?.. on an ELTON JOHN ALBUM!...not on a BERNIE TAUPIN ALBUM>>>soooo... gardiner/numan song should appear on a GARY NUMAN ALBUM!....DUH!... right? ... END-OF-STORY!

  • its stormtrooper in drag not in the drag. anyway brilliant song

  • Totally '80s! Numanoids Rule FOREVER!

  • 'the' drag??

  • yeah ! i bought the 7" single in london round the corner back in 1981 !!... amazing ! I just feel the friendship between gary and paul in this track...

  • 3 mins to 3:45 is trippy as hell-bass playing is sublime.Paul Gardiner cool as fcuk.So sad he died,he had so much talent and was a good looking guy aswell, why is that some people who have such a lot are often troubled and quiet and yet there are loads of talentless ppl who get pushed into the public eye and have a lot to say for themselves and believe their own hype who have very little talent.May be its true empty vessels do make more noise.R.I.P paul you were awesome.

  • fucking brill

  • superb!!

  • I went to school with Paul, he was a really nice guy and pretty quiet at school. we were all quite shocked when we heard of his death at the time. A great song writer and musician of the times. Given the school we went to I can tell you that it's a minor miracle.

    RIP Paul

    Scotty

  • @oofafoo Thats a lovely tribute to a lovely man.

  • This song is amazing. The bass line, the guitar, the synth, everything blends so perfect. Beautiful song!!!

  • God, I love this track.

  • I bought the remaster of Dance just for this one song. Dance is good too but I swear this was hard as hell to get a hold of

  • @maglutaknight I have this on 7inch single,it was released as Paul Gardiner yet Gary Numan sang the lyrics,is a blue cover with a ladies leg in a stiletto heel

  • love this tune, can't beleive they added it to the remaster of Dance.

  • paul Gardiner RIP

  • This was played live on most tours since the 90's, he also did one time on Paul gardiner's birthday to show tribute.

  • I always loved this tune, thanks for uploading.

  • ya eh here we go
