Yes calling the elections "European elections" isn't very accurate, but it's much easier to say than "elections of the European Union".
It's the same as with America and the USA. "Barack Obama is the American President" everyone understands that. I think that hardly anyone would assume that he's the president of Mexico, Canada, or Chile, which are also American countries.
These are not `European elections ´
( Norway,Switzerland etc. are also European countries )
These are elections for the EUROPEAN UNION parliament. The same people who ignored the French,Dutch and Irish voters !
Now please ignore THEM and don't vote in June....
unless you are happy with your laws being made by an un-elected commission.
Happy with a Lisbon treaty that specifies a re-arming of Europe & a mandate for the EU army to operate outside of the UN Charter !
