Hey don't worry, I've got a lot of hassle about me using tablatures and yes even tough I've been playing for... what? 8 years...(damn! I've just realised how old I am) I still play a song by ear and confirm it with the tablature, if it works for pianists and violin players it sure works for guitar players! :D

Of course a lot of modern "country licks" are actually adapted blues licks, but there were/are many licks that are original to country. Pedal steel emulated licks, Bluegrass guitar runs etc. Great videos though! I love em.
