  • this made my day ...

  • David u rule the world in ROCK MUSIC !! PINK FLOYD IS GIFTED BY GOD!!

  • ATTENTION!!! DAVID GUETTA IS NOT REAL DAVID. HE IS ENEMY SPY DISGUSTED AS OUR DAVID. IF YOU SEE DAVID GUETTA, NOT GILMOUR THEN SPYCHECK HIM!!

  • 一生人總得看Pink Floyd live 一次吧 (人生十大必做事件之一) . David, 你會來香港麼????

  • I love when Gilmour says "Thank you very much indeed". Don't know why, he seems so modest. And then he releases the beast called Comfortably Numb.

  • Look at his face. He is not playing the guitar. He is feeling it, and making us feel it too.

RIP Rick Wright, and long live Gilmour!

  • came here from dream theaters feeble attempt at a cover. this is like a breathe of fresh air. this is a song that shouldn't be covered no matter how good you think your band is. it won't be good enough let me tell you

  • Gilmour is God!

  • There should not be a dislike button for Pink Floyd.

  • @Juan13Gabriel

    Supreme !

  • love his guitar playing style...it's like a polish for my soul...

  • Love the fuckin sond naice

  • The second solo in "Comfortably Numb", depending on the version, starting around 4.50, is the best guitar part of all time. Even more, i would call the solo the best minutes of music ever written by mankind. I heard it some thousand times - and it still touches me more than any other music.. Thanks David, you lit up my life.

  • One of the best pvt. cam uploads, seriously. LOVE this! Thanks a ton for this, SemNick90! Gilmour ahh man. I'm lost for words. =/

  • EPIC !!!!! Breathtaking!

This is the single greatest-written solo guitar rampage EVER!!!

Pink Floyd will live //forever//, and David Jon Gilmour is THE master.

  • Dave's solo......... AWESOMEEEEEE!

  • @whskybarjjd I feel for you man. There is still some good music out there, but growing up during the 60's and beyond was awesome.

  • Seeing Gilmour live is my pilgrimage to Mecca...

  • Wait! Has Jesus come back already to Earth and is that him playing guitar?!

Ow no, its David. Well guess he comes close...

  • @kickassaurelius well said !!!!!!!

  • @kickassaurelius yeeeeahhh hahahahahaha great point of view ;-)

  • This may be the closest i get to a Floyd concert experience...it sounds and looks like im standing right there in the crowd...thanks man

  • Nice camera work on this video, thanks for uploading it. Gilmour gets more emotion out of a guitar than any other guitarist out there, he is a true master at his craft.

  • DG FTW!!!!!!!!!

  • RIP Richard. We miss you. But the music still makes us emotional enough.

  • ........ just amazing !!!!!!!!

  • At 1:31, it seems like heaven!!

  • 8:14 super... :S:S

  • Fab!

It just doesn't get any better than that!

  • Excelente como sempre...

  • It's a solo by the greatest guitarist

  • that solo was fucking awsome

  • Wicked upload. So perfect, you just dont want it to end.

  • The piano player/singer looks like my p.e. teacher lol

  • the "so called by you" piano player is Rick Wright, the keyboardist of Pink Floyd, who passed away the 15th September 2008

  • R.I.P Rick Wright

  • Go easy on the child dude... not everyone is educated yet to the pure brilliance of Floyd. rip Rick.

  • a shilouet of a legend. true emotion and creativity

  • David is at the top of his game here. Brilliant

  • the Legendry guitarist David gilmour all the time his music suurounds me ,

  • R.I.P Richard Wright

  • It's Dave's concert, but Rick is playing with him.

  • Great, but not the same without the backup singers.

  • Great quality video. and i dont have to describe the quality of the song of course, cuz no words can do justice to it

  • mg how i love this man

  • did u record this off your mobile

  • I've been at this show. I can't believe how lucky I was to be in this show, seeing as the solo here is much better then the 2 versions in Remember that Night AND the Gdansk version. David was really awesome that night...

  • Richard Wright was the most under-rated musician probably, but was one of the best composers for sure.

  • Richard Wright was the soul of Pink Floyd with his effects and synthes, he gave that "personality and life", to all the songs.

Without rick, Pink Floyd wouldn`t have been Pink Floyd, i think he was the most sound traveler and designer by nature, we can hear that. That`s the legacy that Mr. Wright left to all of us.Sheep, Us & them,, summer 68` .. The great gig in the sky.

LISTEN TO THE BOTTOM OF ALL THE SONGS, HE IS THERE, HE MADE PINK FLOYD WHAT IT IS NOW.

    thanks mr. wright.

  • You stole the words right from my lips man. i mean, i totally agree with you karlo004. RIP Richard Wriight, and thank you so much for these brilliant musical masterpieces

  • im crying

  • the PULSE version was my favorite until the reunion for live 8. given it wasn't as long or visually impressive as PULSE. but it was so perfect. he knew the whole world was watching at that moment and they all did a great job. if you haven't seen it shame on you. i suggest that it's the next video you watch. even his kidds were watching him knowing they will never be as cool as their dad. it was great!!

  • I think the best version of this song is on the P.U.L.S.E tour... he does too much improvisation in this version. Not as enjoyable.

  • No, even the version of CN on the PULSE video was improvised.

  • Absolutley beautiful. How i wish dave would get off his arse and kick start Pink Floyd.

  • Every version of this solo is amazing. Man i wish they would, at least just for Richard Wright

  • I wish I was there! one the best performances of Comfortably Numb... this song is like Pink Floyd's land mark. every body like this song and no one has ever played it better than Gilmour...he's awesome

  • I wish I was there! one the best performances of Comfortably Numb... this song is like Pink Floyd's land mark. every body like this song and no one has ever played it better than Gilmour...he's awesome

  • This version kicks ass. Totally. Its like good as PULSE.

  • I was THERE.

  • jammy sod!! :)

  • That was the greatest guitar solo EVER!

    Absolutely awesome!

  • ha you can hear the audience singing when david sings. Wish he came to calgary. Wish you were here SYD

  • That Rocks like nothing else on earth!!!

  • Gilmour è la chitarra di Dio.

  • God on strings. There will never be anothe like our David.

  • when was this concert?

  • jimmy page gotta bow to this.

  • Kill the intelectual idiot inside your mind and enjoy the show!

  • Whatever dude!

  • been list'ng 2 this & all other C-N's for months. This IS the BEST! David looks like he's drunk to me - how the HELL would u know? r u? a friend of his? a human visual breatha-LIAR? Saw Butterfield,Cream,P-Harum/Trower 67 & 68. Hendrix 67,F-Mac 68 on&on. Likely most brilliant live (non-blues) solo I've ever heard. Man is 60 yrs old: pulls out ALL Stops! Holds back NOTHING! Show me anyone else! Give C-N Gdansk#2, Pulse#3. Pls, crawl back into whatever swamp u came from.

  • add'l Comment: This IS the BEST!

Quite possibly the best sound I have ever heard from a Strat and all the variations he brings!!

Have never heard a more VOCAL sound from a Strat! esp. that 1st short opening break. Unreal...

  • Typical yankee!

  • BEST GILMOUR, BEST!

  • I like the PULSE solo better as it flows better and is overall much more melodic. He also skipped/missed some notes at the beginning I thought... oh well. I am aware that after PULSE he's changed the solo somewhat, but I don't think it's better.

  • sorry man but the on an island tour showed the best in david

  • that's because the PULSE solo is pretty much pre-written. it's been almost excatly the same every night. However, at the 2006 tour, david imporvised a new solo every night, which made each night unique. this is the best version of the 2006 tour.

  • No, with the exception of a few key licks to signal the giant mirror ball, every solo from the Division Bell was improvised. No two solos sounded alike from the 1994 tour.

  • Ok I've reovered now. That really is the best version I've heard. Its absolutely precise and a masterpiece of this mans talent on a guitar. Other guitarists may be considered better technically but the likes of Clapton, knopfler, hendrix etc just dont seem to be able to send the shivers up my spine like gilmour. His style is an enigma, the soul, the emotion, the deep dark and dity, all rolled into one.

  • Holy shit I'm speechless!

  • Such a fantastic performance... so good. I defenitly picked the right show to go to :-).

I was at this show excatly, second row..

  • This seriously might be the greatest thing a man has ever done on a guitar. It's frickin mind blowing.

  • Presente (come del resto a Milano e a Venezia)

  • almost as good as nsync

  • Absolutely the best guitar solo.... awesome.!!

  • Mindblowing

  • best solo ever

  • tribunetta laterale :) concerto stupendo......io ci stavo

  • io ero alla data di firenze.

    che dire... meraviglioso.

  • oh my god LOL

  • what an awesome performance! brings back memories of his show in los angeles. great sound and camera-work, thank you!
