  • This was the coolest movie, one of the coolest from my childhioood. thanks for the post.

  • Nerf football lol

  • it's 1986, man!

  • This has definite Spielbergian elements, but it is still absolutely riveting---like the scene at 6:58 where we see the ship reflected in the mirror. Spielberg does that all the time, but, hey, if you have to steal, steal from the best.

  • @darkprose Sorry, I meant window, not mirror.

  • Jeff's gay ass shirt is a crime against humanity.

  • Never trust Strangers, or Government!!

  • At 9:50, it sounds like there's porn playing in the background. Guess it really was a special gift, just for him.

  • The music ... Just wish I could download it. Memories of this film bring back a lot of nostalgia. 80's - 90's were epic.

  • @simonf007

You can download it. Try looking for the soundtrack to Flight of the Navigator.

  • Is he rocking a Led Zeppelin T shirt when hearing the pitch from Dr.Johnny Fever?

  • HAHA! That's so awesome! He has an action figure of Shrapnel, one of the Insecticons from the original G1 series. this stuff would be worth so much money, now.

  • nah i m not going wave my fist at todays generation just guide them at the flicks that are worth wacthing 1990s

  • Thank you again for the trip back in time to my childhood

  • My favorite part.

    "David where is Phaelon?"

  • SJP can kiss my ass.

    Jeri Ryan is a Godess!!!

  • Thank u for this movie.The music.

    I'm back in my childhood.

    In Soviet Russia.

Icecream costs 2 copeika- 0.2 dollar.

  • Thumbs up for the G.I. Joe vehicle and Transformers @ 9:18. Both would be worth a fortune today in those boxes.

Nice job on NASA's part giving a boy a tiny baseball glove with a softball that barely fits hahaha ALL IN A BAG! hahaha

  • epic plaid tie is epic.

  • My grandad is aliving legend! poo poo

  • @noleafclover92

Ive done that to many girls and its awesome :). Thanks lol

  • @womblewandering thats great, but its still gross. wanna sniff my sweaty balls and inhale that stink?

if stinky feet give you a hard on, im sure a sack to the face wont bother you too much.

  • @KooturKoot

check out the Captain EO entrance loop-sounds like the same composer-both Disney anyways

  • wow i was 8 when this came out...12 was a hell of a lot younger back then!

  • I'm sure David's mum was eaten by an alien a year after he went "missing". So how can she be there in 1986?

  • @TheSegadroid Huh?

  • 3 people found dead after disliking

  • its a walnut!

  • lmao, it is!

  • Remote wand??? :)

  • Back the day's, boy's were pussy.

  • you kick so much ass! this is a great film.

  • Dr. Faraday, what a perfect name for a scientist...

  • @cronous81

Everytime I here a name like Faraday, I think of this movie.

  • right on

  • nose

  • What a great movie! It really brings back some memories! Thanks for the upload, Matt!!!!!!!!!

  • Seeing race to witch mountain the remake of this will most likely be rubbish, Disney employ a good director I.e someone like JJ abrams ,Spielberg, And employ real Actors people who have studied ACTING like (Shakespeare) Other wise you wind up with SKYLINE lol

  • Time travel: Okay so the space ship travels with him around earth many speed of light so time stands still and HE goes into the future Bu thte rest of the world has to keep

  • I would LOVE to go to the future and never come back!

  • @williamsimpson4 that's what you are doing, one day at a time :)

  • god I miss the 80s.

  • If i were his parents, I would be like why the HECK has my kid not aged at all? lol

  • I watched this movie too many times to count when I was a kid cause I thought this movie was so cool. It is still one of my favorite movies.

  • good job

  • 9:18 makes me as gleeful as it did back in 1986

  • The space ship always reminded me of a gigantic walnut lol

  • @seeruhlindsey I see that! It looks like a giant nut sack.

  • @seeruhlindsey Chestnut to me :)

  • 7:42 RIGHT ON DAD!!!!! hahah

  • See, I could ALMOST accept they'd make a sequel where 20yo David helps 12yo David get to Max when he crashed in 86... but I can't accept a remake.

  • I love being 25 now. I had the privilege of growing up during the best era of TV as a child. The late 80's-end of the Mid 90's we're just absolutely phenomenal. Spoiled little brats today are being dumbed down with the tv they watch. No morals, critical thinking, clean fantasy and just NOT clever. This movie tops any kids movie of today!!!!

  • @TheMethadoneParty I hear ya man. I'm 24 and a teacher. Kids these days hardly know left from right. I think films back in our childhood had good messages about hope and exploration. Disney movies were mature and thoughtful, they didn't hit us over the head with some failed attempt at sounding deep like movies do nowadays.

  • @TheMethadoneParty Tell me about it bro, I'm 21, and damn, movies like these back in the day were phenomenal.

  • @TheMethadoneParty - i'll 2nd that! i was about - mmm 5 months old when this was made and i too am very happy that i was born in one of the best era's ever :) god i love being a little old fashioned, hannah montana - dora the explorer and so on can all kiss my ass!

  • @TheMethadoneParty I'm 23 and somehow, this film escaped my attention until a dear someone recommended it to me because I've been severely depressed. It's really making me feel so much better; I'm getting nostalgic about the era, even though I have never seen the film before, but it's excellent so far.

  • @GuildOfWhores You are the sweetest!! :-)

  • @TheMethadoneParty i agree. when was the last time you saw a movie like dark crystal or ghostbusters!

  • @TheMethadoneParty could not have said it any better myself.

  • @TheMethadoneParty LOL what a pile of sh1t. and i guess people in 10 years from now will say exactly the same thing about our time zone and then the same thing 10 years from then. Actually our time is great. it shows kids it's alright to be who you are and be different. the music and tv is sooo much better. so screw you. I'm not a brat.

  • @1122Damien music and tv are shit now and if you don't see that, i feel sorry for you. nicki minaj, justin bieber, and lady gaga are NOT real music. go back to school, kid. (after that you can come home and watch icarly (idumbass)).

  • @starsweet4 LOL no don't agree. sorry. get a life. the music is shit and the tv is even more cheesy then what it is now. bye

  • @starsweet4 Agree 100%. Absolutely true about what you said. That person who's arguing with you about it either ignorant or didn't grew up with the current mainstream music and television shows then. Very true, the current music from Brittney Spears to Lady Gaga along with the rap/hip hop and alternative music are not real music. They're all puppets, no talented hacks and copycats. I'm very grateful not to be part of this generation which is known as 'Generation Y'.

  • @ScorpioBornIn69 Britney is not copy cat she never copied any one unlike gaga madonna wanna be

  • @davidrollercoaster She still sucks, got a bad voice and as for Madonna, she came out in 1983, a total different era of music when good music was still mainstream.

  • @ScorpioBornIn69 thankful that i am not the only one who thinks this way! :)

  • @1122Damien

GREAT ? NOW EVEN YOUR AMERICAN GOVERNMENT TRY TO BAN ALL OF THIS MOVIE FOR THEIR FUCKIN' SOPA & A LOT OF CRAPs... just to make them 1 billion times far more rich & richer too! They even try to ban FB, twitter, Wiki and of course, our beloved YT too... DO U KNOW THAT ? THERE IS NO FUCKIN' SOPA in 80's or 90's but THERE IS in 2012 or next year ! Thats surely far more better than even 100 years in future when u even will need to PAY TAX to just to dump your shit!

  • @Godsider88 erm... okay...

  • @Godsider88 Very true and well said. I wish I had a ship to go back in time, back in the 20th Century when we didn't use the phrase 'Political Correctness' and seeing such corruption of great scale and magnitude both home and overseas. I would trade the internet, cell phones, iPads and laptops for a month back in the 20th Century and the 1980's.

  • @TheMethadoneParty Granted the music is no good. But the film industry has made some incredible work recently. I think you are being conceited.

  • They definitely don't make movies like this any more. This was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. : )

  • This movie was ahead of it's time, it sure fits with all the stuff in the skies these days.

  • ..and another Transformer decpticon near the tv :)

  • ..Transfomers insecticon toy at 9:19 ..I LOVE THE 80'S !!

  • ..80'S MOVIES RULE..

  • Für eine Menge Dinge. Benjamin Fulford.

  • I remember watching this movie when i was 5 like all the time, i totally forgot about it until my teacher brought it up in class, thanks for putting this up man, it brought back lots of child hood memories for me. Im going to buy this off amazon!

  • A convoy of vehicles with NASA insignia in giant letters and a partially concealed UFO....that's a very inconspicuous way to move the spacecraft...LOL.

  • dude the kid should said no, and lived with his family

  • too bad disney doesn't make movies like this anymore

  • help me my mother is in the film alien and dr, faraday is really dr. jhonny fever from wkrp in cincinatti

  • Is it on Blu-ray yet? I just have the regular DVD.

  • Whats great about this and other 80's movies is that it can go slow and still be fully enjoyable...Movies now are so rushed with high speed MTV video influenced editing that they become forgettable and all you remember is a blur. Sometimes in the movie theatre i come out and think'what the feck did i just watch' It's great that we are all enjoying this the same way though we all live in different countries!!! Thats pretty rad..so much distance but child hoods so close. 29 holland

  • @johnnydorris well put mate

  • LOL the Navigator is now working at a Sporting Goods store in Canada

  • get this movie on VHS and be 10 years old in 1986 and watch this movie. lol

  • @mard420 Exept you had to wait a year after it was realeased in the theater ... 1987 when it came out on VHS.

  • before the jews took over hollywood

  • @penfolduk78 As a jew, I can safely say we owned hollywood since the 20s

  • your fiancee sucs

  • Sound levels are too low. My computer can't play loud enough for me fiancee to hear it.. She's a little hard of hearing.

  • Good Lord, why can't they make good movies like this anymore?

  • So many people who have watched this are 23 years old. So am i. Maybe it was a big movie for us back when we were young, Great movie and it brought back a lot of memories.

  • at 1:47 that is so from et.

  • Wow... I haven't seen this in so long. A lot of this story was totally lost on me. I guess age has a funny way of letting you see things in a new light. How important love and loss really is.

Awesome in a whole new way :) Thanks so much for posting!

  • That's some sick computer technology...not! Cool movie.

  • I saw this in the theater when I was about 7. Thats showing age! hahaha

  • Wonder if something like this was ever to happen, who would be in charge? NASA os the goverment?

  • @Issus38 I would imagine that the military would have command of the operation. But they would probably bring in some engineers from NASA to study the spacecraft.

  • this film is so good!

  • "Be cool, dude"

    Kickin' rad

  • if u were in this mess u'd be scared as hell too and confused saying wtf wht do i do now

  • DUDE! check out the transformer packaging

  • this movie is based of a leyend , about a little girl who was completed dissapearence for over 20 years in the early of twenty century but the most strange about this is that she never aged during his absence...

  • I looooooove this movie. <3

  • WOW 1:50 I thought I was watching E.T.

  • i would have changed my mind when the old NASA dude winked at me.....

  • lmfao....great movie though, gotta love the 80's movies lol

  • dude i was looking 4 this movie 4 da longest. i seen it wend i was like 12years old

  • Comment removed

  • Why do you still write like one?

  • funny to see old gi joe, and transformer toys heh

  • @martinf74

Do us a favor and don't have any kids of your own.

  • I think my only complaint about this movie was that the guy who played the father was absolutely horrible at showing any emotional attachment to his son.

  • i want the mom

  • @69santaella 1978 version or 1986 version? Or both at once?...

  • thanks so much for this film.

  • wow they hid the spacecraft well during transprot

  • @youfool8181 now that was funny!

  • it was more believeable in the 1980s

  • this film a classic.. love it.. thanks for uploading this one

  • lol if my brother went thought that, disappearing for 8 years and coming back exactly the same age, Id believe any wierd thing he said. even if he said he heard a voice caling him in his mind

  • @jasmine5000 i think i would do the same thing

  • they dont make em like this anymore

  • @tim1986dow Amen to that, brother or sister. Amen to that. And I think they never will again

  • @tim1986dow Disney's gone downhill, in my view.

  • @Redcarpet01 yup now all they got is crap.

  • Joey Craemer aka David Freeman is a good actor

  • wow this brings back some memories! i didn't know how good of an actor young david was...

  • Why aren't any of them questioning why david hasn't even aged; is this serious? The show just runs and they assume its same ol' david..they don't even say what happened and why is your bro bigger than you? lol

  • You mean like at 8 minutes in when they say, "Where he's been, what's with all the strange brain patterns and why he hasn't aged?"

Gotta forgive some of the silliness in this film, it's over 20 years old now, made by Disney when they did half decent films and... well... it's actually pretty damn good.

  • The Government will cover up that footage, and then lie to us by saying nothing was found, that it was a weather balloon or whatever.

  • ITS A MOVIE!!!!!!! Fuckin' dipshit.

  • Epic lulz @ you shitfuck, you're the one who's a dipshit LOL:)

  • i think that the transformer toy was bombshell the insecticon

  • I looooved this film .Thanks for the upload since i haven't found this on dvd here in sweden.I have it on videocassette though, but have no vcr!

  • watch region are you on dvd. HMV has this film on dvd for five pounds.

  • i will never forget my new friends from outer space

  • I agree with TheSultan79

Why do you think there are so many movies with Extraterrestrials?

They are very real and in fact we are due for disclosure in the near future.

    2010

  • @ZionNeo1 yea someone who finally agrees with me :)

  • They've been here in plain sight for thousands of years, you only have to know their language.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh omniscient one your intelligence is astounding! With your great mind you'll surely be able to build a Lego set on your own LOL:)

  • Yes the nerd ass people are the ones actually going into space on missions i heard lol

  • Wow as a kid (I'm 23) I never understood the element of time. This is simply stunning to look at again. As fresh, enjoying, and as fun as I remember but know I can better appreciate the story.

  • yeah i Always got lost as a kid watching this. i thought the aliens had changed the world around him.

  • im 23 too! it was an amazing film!

  • @infenit101 I could not have put it better myself. And I'm 23 as well. lol. Where did childhood go lol.

  • loved this film lol

  • this movie used 2 make me cry SO SO SO! EPIC!

  • Man this movie brings back memories....

  • LOL @ remote control wand!

  • @101100010110111 of course he was fugging with the kid as he was from 1978 ... we did call the "remote control wand" simply a "remote" or "clicker" in 1986 ... just so you know if your a dumb 80s/90/s/00s child.
