actually its not fed ex fault. look at the video closely apparently noone knows that the cop is in the lane. there should have been flares out in front of the patrol car warning on coming traffic that a accident had happen but the cop is sitting in his car. not securing the scene.

The cop in all honesty was taking too much time calming down the previous idiot who lost control of freaking regular non-commercial sized vehicle instead of securing the accident with flares on a dark bad weather night. To be a little fair though that semi was travelling a bit fast for the weather.

Fed-ex drivers only know one speed and nevermind the weather conditions.Its not a game out here but you would think the why they drive its is.Not to say that union drivers dont crash but at least we can call and tell them I am shutting it down for the condition of the roads,I ve done it many times,12 yrs at Yellow Freight 1 million miles accident free all weather doubles and triples.This is just plain stupidity this guy should have had his ass thrown in jail.This pisses me off and I am a driver.

@thehellorhys I do drive a truck...rocky mtn doubles infact...When I see flashing lights ahead, I don't wait until the last minute to try and slow down...especially when the weather is bad. I have been forced over on the shoulder several times by FedEx drivers going too fast around curves by Promontory, UT that are posted at 45 mph. I appreciate the the adult words in the way you respond...Oh, by the way, I have been driving truck now for just of 17 years...ACCIDENT FREE.

Looks like the only reason that truck slid (and stayed upright) was because of ice and other vehicles in its way... That and the rear trailer was likely hauling light... you can see that it gets airborne a couple times... If this had been on simple wet pavement, a rollover would have been quite likely. Hopefully everyone involved walked away...
