RC Boat brushless, Cool Running Catamaran from BK

Realy nice cat. I'm trying do assemble one. My set up will be Motor:KB451800KV; Speed controler 200Amp (himodel); 6s1p 4500mAmp 30C

The boat it self will bee reenforced with fiberglass (it's a toy W/ 800mm).

What do you think about it?

I used to really want an RC boat. Even though this one is pretty cool and fast.. looks kind of boring? back and forth, back and forth, dead battery. Hmm.. Cool looking lake though, where is it?

This boat isn´t build for curves...

It´s just for Speed on straight run´s!

But you can also build a boat to drive around a course.

By the way, boring isn´t the feeling you have when you see your boat lifting his nose on a speed of 100kph and more;)

The Lake is called Rottachspeicher in the middle of the Allgaeu

Hello,

I´m thinking about a Lipo Setup, but this would be about 500€ for one set (As I imagine it)...

The motor got a idle-running speed of 2382 rpm/V.

At the moment the boat is running with an Octura X442 cut to 41mm (nearly 100 kph).

Hope to see an vid of the smithcat when it run´s!

16 cells 4200, it would run better with the new lipo cells :p

But now it's already goin very nice ey...

How much rpm/v does the motor turn?

I'm planning a Wanderer 20XL6(2501 rpm/v) with 18 cells or 6s Lipo in my Smithscat(80 cm)
