Thank you so much for sending me this delightful work. It is so visual and the intriguing last line makes me wonder whether you are a descendant of the author(s) of the Exeter book of Anglo-saxon riddles!
These are the moments I live for, really. The simple pleasures. You should see the goldfish, I have never come across any as big as these! Sticklebacks used to be a common fresh-water fish here, now much less so, delicate indeed.
Thank you. I'm lucky if my accent helps makes my poetry easy to listen to. I guess this is a riddle of sorts, although I didn't set out to write one. It does have an answer, though, if you would care to discover our secret place for yourself. Best wishes, Mark.
something to do with the shape of the sound? I'm not sure. I do feel I see things clearly in my mind; if that comes across in the poems then I am delighted.
Nice one again !! :)

Not a descendant, in the tradition perhaps. (You would need to know me as Mark, to find the answer. Or ask!) Thanks Andrew.

I am tempted to ask you for the answer, Mark, but I don't want to give up so easily. Perhaps another clue?

I love the flow and the reverberating sounds whilst dipping my toes in the chilly waters. Fat goldfish and sticklebacks... what a life.
Excellent and streamlined.

Lovely images and I had to look up "stickleback" to know ... It sounds like a heavenly secret place, just perfect for toe dipping.
