  • Nice one again !! :)

  • @GContelli ... appreciate your comment, thanks again!

  • glad we became friends and subbd mate.Ivebeen spending a bit time over here on ur channel...theres a poem 4 every occasion........thanks

  • That's fantastic! I'm so glad you found yourself here, this is about one of my favourite places. Cheers for now, Mark.

  • Thank you so much for sending me this delightful work. It is so visual and the intriguing last line makes me wonder whether you are a descendant of the author(s) of the Exeter book of Anglo-saxon riddles!

  • Not a descendant, in the tradition perhaps. (You would need to know me as Mark, to find the answer. Or ask!) Thanks Andrew.

  • I am tempted to ask you for the answer, Mark, but I don't want to give up so easily. Perhaps another clue?

  • It really is a mixed up mall shark...

  • great place... I love the sounds and silences of this beautiful poem. wish you a wonderful weekend.

  • A lovely comment to receive, thank you. (The w/e has been good so far, and now off to watch the new Star Trek movie ...)

  • nice!

  • lovely!

  • I love the flow and the reverberating sounds whilst dipping my toes in the chilly waters. Fat goldfish and sticklebacks... what a life.

    Excellent and streamlined.

  • These are the moments I live for, really. The simple pleasures. You should see the goldfish, I have never come across any as big as these! Sticklebacks used to be a common fresh-water fish here, now much less so, delicate indeed.

  • I like this one; cold water, movement, life . . .

  • ... dip, flick

  • Very refreshing. Great reading too!

  • Thank you. We have spent such carefree times there, that it is a joy to record and share them.

  • dart dip

    you´re awesome!

  • What a lovely message to receive - thank you so much, Brazdolph

  • i really like this one. It is different. You have a cool accent. So is this a riddle?? the clue being in your name??

  • Thank you. I'm lucky if my accent helps makes my poetry easy to listen to. I guess this is a riddle of sorts, although I didn't set out to write one. It does have an answer, though, if you would care to discover our secret place for yourself. Best wishes, Mark.

  • dip

    flick

  • .. you've got it. Welcome whenever you can make it!

  • wow love it

  • I'm glad. It's a lovely place to be.

  • I love how the tone of your voice becomes softer with the "dip.. flick" parts.

  • So nicely read and such great images lead us through this poem.

  • Your poems a very visual if that makes sense.

    Nice poem,i liked it.

  • something to do with the shape of the sound? I'm not sure. I do feel I see things clearly in my mind; if that comes across in the poems then I am delighted.

    Thanks again for comments.

  • very nice i like this poem. =]

  • This has an amazing patience at its heart.

    Great stuff, no secret there.

  • Lovely images and I had to look up "stickleback" to know ... It sounds like a heavenly secret place, just perfect for toe dipping.

  • Very nice poem, nicely read too ^.^ *****stars;)
