  • trell23Mobile:

I've heard this reasoning before and it is pure garbage.

    1. There is over a month between the end of the regular season and the BCS games. No team should be limping into those games with a month to prepare and rest.

    2. If anything, playing tougher teams throughout the season should leave a team better prepared for big games and therefore they should breeze by teams like Boise State and Utah. (didn't happen)

Just another lame excuse to keep the money in the "elite" club.

  • @noobfarang Dude Boise, Utah, TCU and BYU are at a disadvantage money wise.. who's fault is that? Not anyone in the SEC, Pac 10 Big 10 etc. They need help to get paid, the other conferences don't thats just the way it is. You can't blame other conferences bc yours has been absolete in most sports for quite awhile and there is no revenue coming out of it. How many people u think started watching Boise/TCU then changed it in the first quarter when neither QB could complete a wide open pass? Plenty

  • I love the Bama poster here talking smack about the MWC, especially after his Bama was anahilated by MWC member Utah in 2008. BTW, they would have lost to UT last year if Colt McCoy hadn't gotten injured. Texas almost beat them with a back-up QB who had never seen meaningful PT in his college career.

  • @greatwhitelion1966 dude don't base the condition of a football team on what someone did in one bowl game 2 years ago. Bama is 25-2 the last two seasons. I don't care if one of those losses were to Cornell. Coulda/ woulda for old McCoy. Texas had no running game, Bama put up 200 on the ground, Colt McCoy didn't matter. Bama mowed through everyone and is about to do it again. Bama>Rest of SEC>Everyone else... it logically follows...

  • Zackbird what the fuck are you talking about he would not fit on to michigans program and offense at all!

  • yo search devin spence....... the kid is for real...... provincial junior MVP...... all conference team......all provincial team

  • Looks like Drew Brees...

  • for real!!

  • this boy is gonna be very good in and the pros. man i wish he was going to michigan

  • This cat is so over rated. Between watching him on this tape (the WR has plenty to do with that too, most of these plays are the same guy who is at Washington state) and watching the Army All American game, this dude isn't very good. That Marcoux cat that's going to Dartmouth is better than him.

  • Most of the experts in the nation disagree with you. And at the Army All American game the consensus was he was the best QB there. Seems you are just talking out of your ass. Probably a disgruntled Huskie fan who is still pissed you guys lost him to BYU. Too bad chump.

  • @jaxl2009 Huskie fan? That's laughable man. I could give a shit about The Wazzou Huskies. My team is Alabama, we had nothing to do with Jake Heaps. I'm unbiased, no dog in the fight. You, a BYU fan will blow him just as hard as you are saying a Wazzou fan would diss him. Go back to 2000 and look at the names of some of those cats ranked high by scouting "experts" who are selling cars and working at Publix now. Unbiased eyes say... he is over rated.

  • Bear Bryant was a cocksucker.

  • @rbspitz I don't give a fuck about Bear Bryant. The past is irrelevant, Right now Nick Saban is the best coach in college football, in the best conference in college football. 5 Championships in a row... that's gotta be depressing for you other people

  • You can't say he's overrated until you see how he does in college play. Most of the experts seem to disagree with you.

  • Jake had a scholarship offer from Bama...haha

  • everyone offered him you douche, i never said bama didn't want him. he'll never win anything at BYU though thats a fact. Maybe a share of a gahbage MWC title as if that means anything. After that egg laid by TCU that conference will never get another shot at glory

  • You said you guys and i quote...''Had nothing to do with him'' hahahaha.... If the MWC keeps on the road that they are already on they will get a BCS bid every year... I like that..

  • @byubroncohurricane by "had nothing to do with him" i mean "really did not pursue signing him" everyone offers all of the top 100 and if you dont know that then you dont know shit about football and i would almost understand you thinking the MWC was legit. SEC SEC SEC get you some of that. Soon to be 6 championships in a row after Bama repeats.

  • write what you ''mean'' then...just a thought... SEC is the best...plain and simple, i never said anything against that...haha.. MWC is good though..

  • MWC is ok. If TCU was in the SEC they would have lost at least 3 games last year... same goes for Boise. Winning one game over an SEC school isn't equivalent to going through the SE C regular season grind. Everyone slips up. Alabama was the first SEC school to EVER go undefeated throughout a whole season... there is a reason for that.

  • I don't disagree Trell.....haha

  • @trell23Mobile Maybe you didn't watch last season, but Florida had one of the easiest schedules in the country last year. Haven't looked at Bama's Sos, I'm sure it was up there. But the SEC has it's fair share of cupcake games as well. It's obvious that the SEC is better then the MWC, but the MWC plays some good football, and have improved steadily over the past decade. The recruit pool is nothing like it is in SEC country, and just being in the BCS brings free money to the entire SEC.

  • @godsentyes yeah that's what happened, i didn't watch any college football last year. Packing out 80,000- 100,000 seat stadiums every Saturday and winning championships brings money to the SEC. Boise being in a BCS conference isn't going to do much. Hell they can have at it, no one is scared of Boise or TCU. OOC SOS doesn't matter in the SEC bc if you are Alabama u gotta play two teams next year who have won championships in the past 4 years. U do that and you can play Georgia State OOC.

  • @trell23MobileThe only losses the Non-BCS have in the BCS games are when a Godawful Hawaii team was allowed in when the entire country was saying no. (including most of the non-bcs people). And when TCU and Boise were allowed to beat up on themselves. The other 3 games, Utah blowing out an average Pitt team, Boise beating a pretty good OU team.Utah destroying a 1 loss Bama, when that 1 loss was to the eventual National champ. The MWC doesn't have the history the sec does but they're pretty good.

  • @godsentyes I'm fully aware of the Non-BCS record in bowl games. My point is that beating up on San Diego State, Wyoming, UNLV, Colorado State and New Mexico is not very much of an accomplishment. You play 8 of those games then face an SEC or Big 12 team who has been in an 8 week grind against ranked teams and recent NC winners you should have a natural advantage. Add Boise and maybe u deserve a BCS spot... maybe. That Boise/TCU game was a joke last year... and the year before.

  • @trell23Mobile So now a Team from Utah playing in the heart of SEC country in a BCS bowl game is a natural advantage? Is this a joke? I'm not saying that the SEC isn't better then the MWC, it obviously is. But the football being played by the top 3 of the MWC and then 4 including Boise St. and you've got a damn fine top of the conference, and 4 ranked teams. So as one of those teams you have 3 natural top 25 teams on a yearly basis and if you schedule another top 25 OCC, Sos is = to the SEC.

  • @godsentyes An advantage bc they haven't played jack all year. Boise beating TCU, BYU and Utah in conference is NOT the same as beating Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Arkansas, even Mississippi State in a night game. None of those teams are playing in 80,000 plus seat stadiums dude. SEC stadiums are rockin and as loud as any in the country. Playing at Auburn on a Saturday night is alot harder and its alot louder than the Poinsetta bowl. You should fly on over and watch an SEC game in person and listen.

  • @trell23Mobile You don't think BYU TCU BSU and Utah all have rivalries? Every single time they play one another, the stadium is sold out and fans are excited and rocking. So you think because their stadiums aren't as big they don't deserve to be in the BCS or deserve credit for playing good football? Do you really think TCU beating BYU @ BYU is the same as beating a 5-7 Mississippi St team? I've been to a game at Miss St, a Sat. night game where BYU won.Been to a BYUvUtah night game also, haveu?

  • @godsentyes I didn't say bc their stadiums weren't 80,000 they didn't deserve to play in the BCS. I said that meant it was alot easier to play there than to play @LSU or @ Auburn or @ Alabama or Florida. BYU would shit themselves if they had to play a night game in Baton Rouge. And yeah TCU beating BYU @ BYU is about as impressive as beating MSU in Starkville. Didn't TCU beat BYU by 31 points? Then get stroked by Boise (who is in a garbage conference) but owns everyone in the MWC?

  • @trell23Mobile Also, teams like BYU TCU BSU and Utah all have targets on their back in every conference game. Every single opponent they play in conference wants nothing more then to knock them off because they are the elite in the conference. I know Boise plays in a garbage conference, but the MWC plays some pretty good football. Wyoming beating Tenn. a couple years ago?! I know 1 game yadda yadda, but the games keep adding up, and it's becoming clear that the huge gap just isn't there nemor

  • @trell23Mobile you are a byu hater because bama could never beat them

  • @zigzagbro55 look at this fuckin retard. If you think BYU could beat Alabama you have never watched a football game outside of the Mountain time zone. What a moron. SEC have won 6 championships in a row. Bama is king of the SEC therefore Bama is the king of college football. Enjoy playing in the Humanitarian bowl next year BYU

  • who are you?? haha.

  • he's got a very good looking release, I sure hope BYU can work with him.

  • iplayforalta

Are you high??? Pass whatever you are smoking! What schools are even looking at alex hart?? Westminster?? LOL!!

  • re: saosky182. Why show an incomletion? Because he threw it 65 yards in the air you tool. Nothing like showin off your arm. Who care if the D-Bag caught it or not. The BYU receivers don't drop that shizzle. Top ten this year!! What??? Pac-10 sucks!!!

  • the quarterback from jordan high school alex hart is way better than this kid

  • ...and an interception?? WTF?

  • I know this is his QB highlight video but why would you show a clip of an incomplete pass? Twice?

  • we'll see....

  • kasean williams is amazing

  • hes not amazing.hes good but he just has a laser for an arm

  • Totally agree. This guy doesn't look so special, but he's just a soph HS. He could improve from now 'till senior day 12.

  • Comment removed

  • actually, hes a senior

  • how is bothell not in the top 100, they are 5-0 and won every game by 50 or more points

  • @123asoccer bothell got up to number 18 in the maxpreps poll in '09 before losing to fucking skyline in the semis

  • stares his receivers down bigtime too

  • wins 3 state titles too....hmmm.

  • wow why put incompletions and ints on a highlight tape?

  • cause its not a highlight tape..it's clearly a tape of a game aired on ESPN

  • he is garbage

    and he is number one?

    wow

  • how can you even say that? he looks like he could be an amazing QB the passes he is making are really crazy good
