For the past 20 mnts or so I've been looking for Moonchild covers. This is the one I like the most, although bossanova is not exactly my cup of tea, I thought it was quite creative AND I believe it somehow kept the mood and spirit of the song. And this is for me the most important. As for the vocals, not bad at all. It reminded me of "Digital Love" by Daft Punk. Go figure. Perhaps they use a similar effect. Nice job.

Hmmmm, someone said you shouldn't do a good song with bossa nova. Guess I'll be in trouble, cos I went and did the same thing too. As for the synthesized vocals, also found on your other version, it's okay, maybe not for everyone, but that's the way it goes. You can't please everyone, but if you enjoyed doing it, and if at least a few others enjoyed it, you've done okay. I liked it, but then again, I've always liked the u'off the beaten path' anyway.
