life without parole is worse than the death sentence. which is why i find it absurd that the usa made it that people under 18 can't be executed. i guess i appreciate the fact the usa is starting to slowly give up on its medieval laws but i'd rather be dead than spend 70-80 years in prison and die of old age having done nothing with my life. the usa wants low crimes yet they do higher sentencing laws. ironically the states with softer sentences also get less crimes.
