People, people... if you're a fan of music, then you know that there are many songs, loops and shindigs that sound similar to each other. Whether it be from Garageband, one artist hearing the sound of another artist and adapting their own spin on it and the like. Matt Koval made it pretty clear how he came up with his tune. So it is simple. If you like the music and/or want to support Matt, then buy the song. If you do not like it, then do not buy it. : )

You're also right that I won't buy the music track (sorry). But I don't think pointing out how the music is produced is an unnecessary negative comment. People who aren't music composers and aren't familiar with GarageBand would not be aware of the original loop's existence and arguments can get messy from there. I was just trying to clarify things.

Actually, the tune is a "loop" available for music mixers in GarageBand. I'm a composer and have played with the loops in GarageBand quite a bit to create quick soundtracks for quick game productions. It's a default loop that comes with the program listed as "Orchestra Strings 08". Since it is a free loop, nobody's getting sued for using it. :)
