  • good day lads...i shattered 3 collar bones, broke 4 kneecaps and comotosed 5 women. i'm hard me especially with a trungeon and shield against poor defensless people

  • I just saw the footage on BBC Folk Britannia. I'm an old fogey and generally support the police (if they keep their hands off my weed), but this showed decent peaceable people being set upon in a horrible, sadistic way. This truly was police brutality.

  • to obtain a level of peice and freedom from these corrupt sheep pigs and scum, violence is essential allthough its not good, its all the police understand, the way they forcefully enter peacefull peoples homes or buses is a disgrace,if these fukin bullys came near me or my kids they,d get it big time and i would enjoy givin it to em,

  • no justice. no peace. FUCK THE POLICE!

  • it's funny when you always hear comments on utube about 'liberal biased media' whatever thats supposed to be. i remember a very falklands factor correctness bbc reporting on this goon squad rampage (angela rippoff i think it was) referring to "the 'so called' peace convoy" - when i never heard a reference to the 'so called' (thatcher) govt MSRIH (may she rot in hell)

  • The Fascist police of a fascist thatcherist government.

& the 'people' can't wait to get more of the same.

those of us left have to be ready for them.

I remember (happily) the stonehenge festivals of the early 80s - they we're far too successful an exercise in freedom for the powers that be to allow to continuee. i remember victoria park '78 etc.

    music. love. freedom. forever

  • Mum was at Beanfields & was a vivtim of that thatcherite stitch up. I was 11 & stayed on site near Glastonbury on that solstice. She won't watch any of these vids.

  • like many others i only saw the horror on tv....it was a bad time all round.Having been at stonehenge the previous couple of years and enjoyed the peaceful vibe it was a real comedown. respect to your mum. thatcher sucked then and still does.

  • deffinetly sounds like zion train to me

  • Tashphoto, whats the dub in the background, really like it mate

  • police behaviour was disgusting. People should campaign for a full public enquiry. The police were violent criminal that day and must be brought to justice. Even after all this time some of these guity people should be charged with there crimes.

  • the peace convoy was my family...wathching this after 22 yrs brings it all back...lots of us trave are dead now but the spirit lives on...the travelling way of life seems dead as well...the government got what they wanted after all

  • only an american would put a pro gun rant on a thing about a free peace festival,,,shit

  • id just arrived when most people had been nicked beaten up both, whent in 84,first festival, shit that opoened me eyes

  • i was only 13 when this happened...so i wasn't there...[my husband,TETLEY,was tho]...living on the road was the best choice i ever made..unfortunately we had our truck [OUR HOME],burned down whilst i was in hospital, having my 2nd child.,,but as soon as my kids start school & i find work..we'll get another vehicle, and we're out of here....i don'T want my kids becoming LEMMINGS...lets keep the movement going...not just for us...but our kids,too!...HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE EVERYONE!

  • still freaks me out 22 years on watching this- lost my home that day, arrested, thretened with being charged for attempted murder then it was breach of the peace held for three days dragged through the courts for two years all charges dropped what was it all about. maggie thatcher may she rot in hell

    see you at the stones

  • bastards!fuckin thatcher has a lot to answer ,there isn`t no counter culture anymore,if you want fun you gotta pay the man. everything sponsored by some greedy bastards

  • lol hippies don't exactly want to bear arms you gun toteing wanker.

Think how worse that could have been if people had guns. Thick cunt. (that's to savage usa,not anyone else btw)

Every time I see these clips,it makes me feel sick to my stomach. I was only 7 in 1985,and I on;y heard of this massive abuse of police power about 5 years ago. It makes my blood boil

    happy solstice everyone,all the same.

  • Right of arms !! what a cock just look at Waco and you will see that worked out all good with lots of arns . SPAM spastic American

  • This is what happens when you let the gov take away your right of arms.Next comes speech & the vote then privacy & finally enslavement & genocide. The middle ages are approaching. Are you ready to fight or die for your freedom?

  • 'Right of arms'? Are you kidding?

There are too many idiots and fanatics out there to allow 'right of arms'! Your comment alone, aside from the horrific events of the last week, prove that.

  • Are you aware that Virginia Tech has a rule that individuals (other than Police) may not carry a gun on campus, even if they have state issued concealed carry permits? Cho was free to commit those murders, unopposed, in the very environment you seem to favor. One gun in any of those classrooms could have killed him, preventing further slaughter. It's the "idiots and fanatics" we need to be able to protect ourselves from. Obviously, the Police can't do it.

  • Yes, you are right. But it seems to me that it was far to easy for Cho to buy a gun in the first place.

My response was really initiated by the fact I felt that the original comments assumed too much and made extreme, simplistic connections. There is a world of differece between some over zealous, violent, bullies in uniform and "enslavement and genocide".

Or am I being too English?!

  • Stick to american affairs mate alot simpler.

  • "American affairs" or "Americans"?

  • LOL True!!!

  • i know someone who was on that bus

  • Sad. Very, very sad. And so unnecessary. Policing in a "civilised" society? I don't think so!
